The story of "Happy Lazaro" begins with Lazzaro holding an instrument and standing alone in front of the warehouse.

When Lazzaro had a fever and needed a break and could not return to the small cave on the side of the mountain, no one except "Grandma", who suffered from Alzheimer's disease, refused to let him rest in his room.
He is a grossly marginalized figure in Invoice.
Lazzaro and Tancredi
In Investice, there are also ruling classes like the Marquise and Tancredi.
The peasants, aware of the class gap between themselves and the Marquise's son Tancredi, felt jealous and hateful and could only boo behind their backs.
But Lazzaro was different, and the peasant he saw was no different from the marquis, so he was the only one who dared to look straight ahead and chat with Tancredi.
Tancredi's arrival prompted Lazzaro's calm, watery heart to stir up waves.
For Tancredi, Lazzaro is a special presence in The Voice, where only he is willing to believe in himself unconditionally and follow himself.
Tancredi, like Don Quixote, sinks into a rambling fantasy by completely losing his sense of reality, disguised as a pseudo-knight full of inner romance, vainly trying to fight against the nobility of the world with a small slingshot, and Lazaro becomes his Sancho Pansha.
The ordinary windmill in Sancho Pansha's eyes is regarded by Don Quixote as an imaginary enemy of giants.
The ordinary earth ditch in Lazaro's eyes is described by Tancredi as the moon.
Tancredi thus indulged in self-righteous fantasies, and after many years of becoming a poor and downtrodden nobleman, he still did not admit this fact, insisted on talking about the noodles, after inviting Lazzaro and his party to come to the banquet, he hid in his own home and angrily broke the contract, and the decades he lived became nihilistic sadness, and finally in order to live, he had to take the mouth of his wife to embarrassingly take the feast gift that Antonia spent all his family property - 50 euros.
The Old Wolf's Story:
There is a very eye-catching narration in "Happy Lazzaro", which tells us the story of an old wolf in two paragraphs, which is the central theme of the whole film, and if you understand it, you will understand "Happy Lazaro".
The first paragraph of the story goes something like this:
"An old wolf was driven out of the pack because of the old dragon clock, and it was very hungry, so it ran to the human home and ate the chickens and ducks, and the humans tried to kill it, but they did not have the courage, so they were on duty day and night, and set many traps, and the humans hated the wolf, thinking that he was fierce and strong, but what they didn't know was that it was just an old and weak wolf."
This fable confirms the marquise's enslavement of the peasants.
The peasants were exploited by the Marquise, dared not speak out, and secretly called them "Serpent Lady" behind their backs, but they also decided that all the actions taken by the Marquise against them were taken for granted, but the truth of the matter was that the sharecropper system had been abandoned for a long time, and the Marquise was nothing more than a deceiver.
Some of them had the opportunity to rise up and ride to the city in a car to make a living, but in the end they were trapped by the words of the Marquise, and their footsteps were imprisoned by narrow thoughts, and they could only live in the lies they had woven for themselves all day long.
The second paragraph of the story:
"Later, the story of the old wolf reached the ears of a saint who had the ability to communicate with animals, and the people respected him and obeyed him, so the people went to the saint, and the saint accepted the people's request to negotiate peace with the wolf, so he set out to find the wolf, and the saint traveled a long way, he walked and walked, and winter came, the saint was exhausted, he was cold and hungry, but he still could not find the wolf, what he did not know was that the wolf was also hungry, and he had been following the saint for a long time, and finally one day. The saint fell, he fell on the snow, the wolf finally appeared, the wolf slowly, grinning his teeth as he approached him, just as the wolf was about to eat him, the wolf suddenly smelled a smell, a smell he had never smelled before stopped him, he sniffed again, what is this smell? ”

There is no doubt that Lazzaro is the good man in the film, that is, the saint in the second story, but unlike the fable, after the saint came out of the story, people did not respect him or obey him, but instead used him as a tool, regarded his great wisdom and foolishness as a weak and blind obedience, and only Antonia, who had a good feeling for him, was willing to treat him as a normal person, and Ken bowed down to worship miracles when Lazaro returned many years later.
And the final ending of the saint's coming to the earthly world, the end of the film is also self-evidently revealed in a surreal way:
"Later, the saint became a bad man, and the old wolf came back and took his life."
Lazzaro has all the qualities of a saint, he feels almost no negative emotions, he is willing to do every work, everything can make him feel the existence of happiness.
But in this turbid world, he is like an alien who is so clear as water.
People will treat him well when they need help, and they will kill him when necessary.
Thus, in this murky world, death is the only endgame.
