On March 15, 2021, a flash explosion disaster occurred in the Maoming Petrochemical Branch of Maoming High-tech Zone. At 12:02, the special service station on the north sixth road of the station arrived at the scene, and Li Shufang took the lead in carrying out reconnaissance after arriving at the scene. After the reconnaissance was completed, Li Shufang found that the flash explosion at the accident site caused a total of 4 leakage points, and the most dangerous was the three fire points of a unit, if the cooling and cooling control was not obtained in time, the explosion would occur at any time.
In the face of emergency, Li Shufang led the backbone of the special service station to the most dangerous area to set up a number of mobile water cannons to suppress the fire. At 13:12, after a long period of fierce combustion, the pipeline line and the separation device area of the fire area partially collapsed, and the deployed water cannon could not effectively hit the ignition point. At 13:26, the on-site general headquarters adopted the tactic of "shutting off the valve and cutting off the material" after carefully evaluating the situation on the spot, and decided to send capable personnel to enter the exquisite recovery unit to implement the closing valve. In the end, Li Shufang and 4 other people formed a team to implement the internal research valve inside the device.
"The leak point spewed out three or four meters of flame upwards, and the surrounding steel mesh platform was completely burned out, and it was impossible to get close to the flat valve." Li Shufang recalled that the attack team immediately returned to the water cannon position, and in the case of risking collapse and thick smoke and high temperature, pushed a mobile water cannon forward 20 meters, directly hitting the fire point, laying a solid foundation for extinguishing the fire.
After more than 8 hours of continuous fighting, the fire was finally extinguished. Li Shufang led the team to overcome the danger of high temperature, toxic gases and multiple explosions in the fire installation area, withstood the tests of life and death, blood and fire, and successfully completed the fire extinguishing task assigned by the superior.
This is just a daily portrayal of his stay at his post. In the face of the severe tests of blood and fire, life and death, Li Shufang often stepped forward and charged forward, putting personal life and death on the line.

In the industry for 20 years, he deeply understands the ideas and psychology of his teammates at each stage, patiently and meticulously helps firefighters solve various problems in work and life, never puts up shelves and plays with privileges, and becomes the closest "big brother" and "good assistant" in the minds of squadron firefighters.
After Li Shufang became a family, he devoted most of his time to work and did not have enough time to take care of the family, but fortunately he received full understanding and support from his wife. In the second year after marriage, his wife was 6 months pregnant, and Li Shufang was dispatched by her superiors to train coaches due to work needs. The wife then stood up alone with a big belly to prepare for the renovation of the new home. In April 2019, because of the needs of work, shortly after the second child was just full moon, Li Shufang was transferred to the newly established Maoming Binhai Fire Duty Station to lead the team on duty for four months, and his wife had to use more energy to take care of the children.
Since October 2019, Li Shufang has been drawn by the general team to train, and has been working outside for a long time, and lacks time to take care of his wife and two children. Li Shufang felt deep remorse for this. He said: "I feel particularly sorry for my family in my heart, thank my wife for her understanding and support, and I can only spend more time with my family when I am on vacation." ”
