According to the British "Daily Mail" reported on July 9, recently, the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) "Okeanos Explorer" exploration team (Okeanos Explorerteam) completed more than a month of deep-sea exploration missions. They explored the southeastern United States (from North Carolina in the north to Florida in the south), dispatched robotic submarines and dive explorers, and unveiled the unsolved mysteries of creatures in the deep sea thousands of feet deep.
The deep-sea exploration, which began on May 22 and ended on July 2, includes a few sparsely populated areas of the east coast that have been explored. Using remote control equipment, the team conducted a total of 17 "Window of the Deep Sea" dive missions. They encounter the terrifying-looking lizard fish, the strangely shaped hydra and the cute and big-eyed "dumpling squid", which is breathtaking.
On July 1, the last dive, researchers encountered a ferocious and bizarre lizard fish at a depth of 5,810 feet (about 1,800 meters). The lizard fish is a pasteurfish with a ghostly white face, large, godless black eyes, and fine teeth. It can grow up to 2 feet (about 0.61 meters) long and is good at ambushes. According to National Geographic, lizards are hermaphrodite and have both hermaphroditic organs, so they can mate with any of their kind.
