If there is a "Snapchat Video Grand Prix"
The winner of that championship must be him
Ollu Walls
One has a soft spot for all kinds of filters
And a singer who is keen on spoofing
Olly Walls
British musician Olly Murs, winner of 6 Nominations for the Brit Awards, has made four consecutive albums on the Pound Sterling Album and six number one singles, and these achievements are just the beginning, and he is still refreshing himself.
On the day of the interview, it was early in the morning london time, and Before Olly Murs could have breakfast, he was dragged by Cloris to start the interview.
- When did you first find out that you were singing well?
I casually hummed a few words at the end of a game in the shower, but I didn't expect to sing a song casually and be praised by my teammates. It was also this chance that made me feel that I should try singing and do what I liked.
- Who influences music the most?
Compared with my influence on fans, for me, the reaction of fans can bring me more inspiration and motivation to create.
- How was the hot single That Girl born?
This Beat Girl is a real emotional experience of my own: after breaking up with my girlfriend, I knew that she would not come back to me, so I had the feeling to write this song but this song.
- Why did Unpredictable choose Louisa Johnson to adapt it?
Although Louisa is still very young, she is the perfect voice I am looking for.
- What's it like working with Snoop Dogg and Ed Sheeran?
Although Snoop Dogg and I didn't really meet for songs that were delivered through companies and labels, I was thrilled and excited to work with him because the moves finally presented the idea of both of us perfectly.
Working with Ed Sheeran is very special, he is like a Chuangqi to me, so I really appreciate him. And everyone knows that Ed Sheeran is now a hot star in the world, and he has created too many popular hot lists. Therefore, it is a very unique experience to be able to see the songs he creates and sing them with your own eyes.
- Who would you like to invite to work with in the future?
Let's focus on the works first! It is not too late to talk about cooperation when you find the right voice.
- What do you think is most important for a contestant in a draft?
A firm belief coupled with continuous effort is something he believes must have, because good musicians emerge in an endless stream, and a sense of affirmation and desire and enthusiasm for success is also a force that can support the contestants to achieve good results. For the players I lead, as a mentor, I first make sure that they sing the right repertoire, without losing their style during the competition, and of course, it is very important to be able to enjoy the stage.
- Who is the winner in your heart this season?
I'm bullish on Molly Hocking and Jimmy Balito because the two of them should be in the top two. [By the time the show aired, Molly and Jimmy had already won the semifinals and became the contestants who would join Olly Murs on the final stage.
- As an artist who is active in various fields, how do you think about social media?
The power of social media can be felt by looking at how Hot Girl is on fire, and of course social media is also a major front for getting information and understanding the dynamics. However, I hope that everyone will use social media correctly, rather than maliciously spreading or even causing online violence.
- About the recent album You know I Know
You know I Know is a gift to fans: You know stands for familiar hot orders, while I know is some new singles. This is a collection of celebratory decades of debut, and I feel that it is very rare to record my musical journey along the way with an album. Also, I'll probably write a few new songs this year and give myself a good break at the end of the year.
