On October 24, the 2021 Guangxi Auto Tourism Conference - China Auto Travel Camping Circle Special Seminar was held in Beihai. Tourism experts, industry "big coffee" and industry elites from all over the country gathered together to share the experience of caravan travel around the theme of "discussing the new model of cultural tourism integration and exploring the new trend of automobile sojourn life", combined with the development status of the automobile tourism industry at home and abroad, and discussed the new model and new path of the development of the "automobile + cultural tourism" industry.

At the seminar, the Guangxi Automobile Tourism Camp Alliance was announced. Representatives of 11 four-star or above automobile tourism camps in Guangxi took the stage to sign the "Guangxi Automobile Tourism Camp Alliance Cooperation Framework Agreement". According to the agreement, 11 four-star or above car tourism camps will comprehensively strengthen cooperation and exchanges in automobile tourism, further realize resource sharing, information exchange, and market co-construction, and jointly create a new image of guangxi's automobile tourism.
The meeting also released the logo of Guangxi Automobile Tourism Camp Alliance and the Guangxi Automobile Tourism Camping Boutique Route. Four boutique routes, including Guilin International Tourist Resort Landscape Culture Tour, Sino-Vietnam border pass landscape ecological health tour, Xijiang ecological sightseeing and ethnic customs tour and Coastal Leisure Vacation Tour around the Beibu Bay, connect many beautiful scenic spots in many cities, meet the tourism needs of different tourists in an all-round and multi-angle manner, and promote the formation of a new pattern of cultural tourism industry development in Guangxi.
Zhou Sheng, vice president of the Guangxi Tourism Planning and Design Institute, said that at present, the development of self-driving tourism in Guangxi has problems such as insufficient theme routes, weak public service capabilities and not many high-quality star-rated car camps, and combined with the development positioning and goal of Guangxi self-driving tourism in the 14th Five-Year Plan, it is clear that in the future, Guangxi self-driving tourism is under construction clusters, tree models, make up for shortcomings, create characteristics, grasp experience, and expand the market.
