Will "Female He" also be too abstract and detached from reality to be difficult to understand? But this proved not to be the case.
When I first started watching, it was a small house made of old clothes, and indeed, there were many scenes in it that I couldn't understand after watching, such as signs of unclear meaning, different fruits, tough transformations, and different shoes in the scene. Worried that I might not understand, I did not stop, but continued to look back. The scenes begin to change, and more colorful things are doing strange things, but the appearance of new shapes and things in each scene will help me understand the meaning and plot of the imagery in the previous scene. Looking back slowly, I slowly understood the story told by the whole animation and the connotations of the various images in the animation.
I'm sure there are many people like me who are already curious about this avant-garde stop-motion animation, but are dissuaded by the scene that didn't know what to expect from the beginning. Or simply after watching the poster, I think I must not understand it, so I give up this animated movie. I felt similar before I watched it, and it turned out that "The Woman" wasn't as difficult and complicated as I thought, it was just telling an old story in a new way. A story that each of us has heard. Another reason that makes it difficult to understand is that creators come from the same cultural background as us, and without cultural differences, it will be easier to understand their imagery. When I watched it, I thought it was a Chinese animation movie for foreigners to watch as well.
I hope that all the domestic comic friends have time to slowly watch this animated movie, without fear and worry, as long as you slowly go with the author's lens to see, you can slowly understand the mystery, white socks, piles of cigarette butts, the world dominated by chains, the temptation of cherries, the power of plants, etc., everything will be clear and clear little by little.
