And the animated short film, 10-20 minutes, does not need to be long, does not need to wake up the world, with clever ideas and excellent artistic design, in a short period of time, it can tell children the deepest truth of life, so it is particularly popular with parents and teachers.
When it comes to short films, in addition to the classic Oscar-winning portfolio, the local animation that accompanied the growth of our generation has to be mentioned.
In the middle of the last century, a large number of excellent domestic animations emerged in China, including ink animations that are now very rare but enough to show the tenacity of ancient national civilization. In fact, the quality of these early short animations was superior.
Combining domestic and foreign short films, I have selected more than 10 works from the major lists, and when the 25th solar term - smog season floods, why not take out these short films, ready for tenderness and emotion, and family gathering together to enjoy it?
1. "Father and Daughter"

This touching 73rd Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film has a great soundtrack, and it doesn't have to be less than a 90-minute movie. The father's love of the light accompanies us to immerse ourselves in the spread of emotions.
2. The Monk and the Flying Fish

The Taoist monk of the monastery was meditating by the pond when suddenly a fish jumped out and disturbed his thoughts. Michael Dudwitt's two masterpieces: Father and Daughter and The Monk and the Flying Fish have a distinct style, replacing the dialogue with a soundtrack that is highly coordinated with the picture, which is extremely vivid.

What happens to a large, smiling long-haired bird that falls in the middle of a flock of ugly birds? Oh , the birds don't seem that friendly.
6. "Balance"

There is a plate horizontal in the vast cosmic space, and the 5 people standing on it have empty eyes, and they look around and think.
Suddenly, a person takes a step toward the middle, and the plate tilts. The crowd panicked and scrambled to flee to safety, the tablet shaking more and more.
Through dramatic and comical plots, the short film reflects the delicate relationship of lust, containment and balance. A few years ago, when I was teaching in the countryside of Sichuan, I played this short film for the children, and the magic thing is that the children get all right.
7. "The Employed Life"

What role do we play in life? parents? child? teacher? office worker? Do we really understand the meaning of the role?
At 7:15 a.m., the alarm clock is a big deal, and a middle-aged man reluctantly gets up and starts his day of being "hired" for a day. Wait, who hired him?
The meaning of this film is thought-provoking. He won the Grand Jury Prize at the 2009 ANIMA-Cordoba International Animated Film Festival, the Fibisi Award for International Film Critics at the Annecy International Animated Festival Film Festival 2009, and the Best Short Film Award at the 2009 Lilda Latin American Film Festival.
8. "Violent Clouds and the Stork"

Western legend has it that there is a bird named "Stork" that is specifically used to transport children. But where did the stork-transported children come from?
It is created by the clouds of life!
The classic line of this film, "I love you as you are", is not it the expression of parents' love for their children?
9. Landscape and Water (1988)
Runtime: 19 minutes
The old violinist fell ill in the wilderness of the desert village, and the fisherman's teenager took in and rescued him, and thus began a master-apprentice friendship of teaching skills and giving the piano. The whole film does not have a single line, but relies on the sound of the pen and ink landscape and the sound of the piano slowly unfolding, and integrates the Inspiration of chinese Taoist Teacher Nature, Indisputable Thought and Zen Insight.
In 1988, "Landscape and Water", filmed by Shanghai Fine Arts Film Studio, adopted a full-master luxury production team and became the masterpiece of Chinese ink animation.
9. "The Little Tadpole Finds Mother" (1961)

The mother frog gave birth to a group of small black tadpoles, huh? How did they look completely different from their mother? The little tadpoles swam in the pond, swam, and embarked on the road to find their mothers, but it was not a simple thing to find in this way.
Many mothers have told the story of the little tadpole finding their mothers, and in 1961, the masters collectively choreographed and directed according to this story, becoming The first ink animation film in China.
11. "The Clam Fights" (1983)

One of the domestic animation fable series.
Sandpipers and clams compete, and fishermen gain profits. This truth does not need to be repeated, the film has won a number of international awards, including the Silver Bear Award for Best Short Film at the 34th (West) Berlin International Film Festival in 1984. Ink animation with music, national charm is unlimited.
12. The Mischievous Golden Snub-nosed Monkey (1982)

13. "Mantis Catching Cicadas" (1988)
Derived from the fable "The mantis catches the cicada and the yellow finch in the back". There is almost no adaptation, but an image reproduction of the fable story. But in this short five-minute ink animation, the moral is clearly presented.
14. "Almost" (1964)
Paper-cut style domestic animation, unique style, its own style.
Kobayashi learned archery, and just when he was able to shoot the arrow at the target, he thought that his skills were almost the same, and he was ready to go up the mountain to hunt. Unfortunately, when he went, he met a big bad wolf...
