The man shouted at her, "Eight families in Queens have drowned. If we had the right infrastructure, this could have been avoided. The New York Post said the man was referring to 13 people who died last month in the floods caused by Hurricane Ida, 11 of whom drowned in basements in Queens, New York. City officials blamed the tragedy on the aging of municipal sewer systems.
Faced with a sudden interruption, Harris reacted quickly.

The man was then taken away from the venue by the Secret Service, the report said. The Daily Mail said the man, Jose Vega, was 23.
