Later, I never had the opportunity to go to Xi'an, and I also hope to have the opportunity to go again and feel the charm of this ancient city. This year is the first time that the National Games have been held in the Northwest Region, and I think it is a good opportunity to promote the badminton event alone. Because there is no professional team for a long time, we rarely have the opportunity to contact the athletes in the northwest, let alone understand the development of badminton in the northwest, so for a long time I will mutter in my heart, that is, the compatriots in this area like badminton or not.
One year in the Yu Super League, Jiangsu's home game against Bayi and August 1 was put in Yinchuan. I was really shocked during the game, the whole stadium was full, even the aisles were full of fans. They are very enthusiastic, they know the ball very well, and they do a very good job of watching etiquette. Later, I also learned about it, in fact, badminton in the northwest region is very hot, but there is no professional team to drive and guide, the overall level of development is still worse than the south. The National Games were held in Xi'an, athletes sent wonderful games to local fans, I believe it can greatly drive the local badminton fever, I hope that the badminton boom in the Great Northwest can be seen as soon as possible.
For athletes, they are the messengers of promoting badminton, so I especially hope that our players can have such a belief. Take the National Games, with excellent performance, wonderful competition to promote badminton is undoubtedly the main means, in addition, if conditions permit, I think we should actively cooperate with the work of the Chinese Badminton Association and the local organizing committee, participate in some public welfare activities, interviews, badminton offline interaction and other links, with their own influence and performance to let everyone know more about badminton, better understand badminton players. Even if the game time is too tight to participate in these activities, then in the post-game mixed interview area, press conference and other occasions, we must also keep in mind the identity of the promoter of their own project, and use their own words and deeds to help the development of badminton.
