"Inheriting ancient calligraphy" Zhang Kunshan calligraphy exhibition site
Mr. Zhang Kunshan returned to his hometown to hold a personal calligraphy exhibition on the occasion of commemorating the 75th anniversary of the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, which fully demonstrated his patriotic spirit and hometown feelings. As a famous contemporary calligrapher, a senior director of the China Book Association, and one of the representative calligraphers in the field of contemporary epigraphy and cursive calligraphy, Mr. Zhang Kunshan has made great efforts to carry forward traditional Chinese culture and continuously climb the peak of calligraphy.
Mr. Zhang Kunshan has been carrying forward traditional culture for decades, taking the promotion of traditional culture as his own responsibility, Hanmo Linchi, diligent cultivation, especially in the field of epigraphy and cursive calligraphy, the courage to explore bold practice, the creation of a large number of fine works, has made important contributions to contemporary calligraphy in theory and practice, has a far-reaching impact.
Mr. Zhang Kunshan delivered a speech of thanks, and he expressed his deep love and care for the land of his hometown qilu, believing that this was an excellent opportunity to report to the leaders and people of his hometown and to his friends in the calligraphy circle. He thanked Qilu Dadi for his nurturing grace and the army for his cultivation and education, thanked all the leaders and guests who came to the exhibition, thanked the guidance units, organizers, undertakers and co-organizers for their strong support, and thanked all friends from all walks of life who made hard work for the exhibition.
Features of this exhibition:
First, the stele school has a strong style of writing, highlighting the golden stone weather. The ancient and open, the simple and strange, the natural innocence, the broad and powerful epigraphical style fill the main style of the whole exhibition. Although Mr. Zhang Kunshan did not focus on the works similar to the original appearance of the original stele, he has melted the essence of the stele's element stele into each work.
The second is to persist in combining inscriptions and posters to highlight the spirit of the times. Mr. Zhang Kunshan has always adhered to the stele as the basis, the stele and the post are blended, and the unique path is unique. He combines the humble simplicity of the stele and the elegance of the post through clever docking, fusion, and mutual infiltration and penetration, which is greatly different from the single aesthetic form of the pure stele, which improves the difficulty coefficient and enhances the artistic appeal and aesthetic value.
The third is to use the stele into the grass to create a new cursive composition form. Mr. Zhang Kunshan introduced many elements such as the vastness, majesty, broadness, and strangeness of the monument into the cursive script, making its lines more sophisticated and rounded, the structure more strange and open, the overall richer ups and downs, and the visual impact more intense.
Fourth, the huge works are the backbone, highlighting the Chia Tai atmosphere. Mr. Zhang Kunshan's exhibition, a shocking and moving highlight, is the debut of several sets of huge works, which has become the backbone of this exhibition, fully highlighting the charm brought by the Chia Tai atmosphere and traditional calligraphy to the viewer. These huge works have a large meteorological and strong visual impact, which left a deep impression on the audience.
Fifth, the five-body calligraphy is also attacked, which has a leading and enlightening effect on the contemporary book world. Zhang Kunshan is good at the five bodies, all of which have reached a considerable height, and the valuable thing is that he has penetrated the five kinds of books and formed a whole, whether in style or pen and ink language, they are coordinated and unified, but there is no sense of far-fetchedness.
Sixth, pen and ink should be contemporary and strive to shape the spirit of contemporary art. One of the highlights of the exhibition is Mr. Zhang Kunshan's thinking on form and his exploration of pen and ink. He combines the traditional concept of calligraphy with the spirit of contemporary art, and has launched a large number of masterpieces with novel forms and ink, showing his independent view of contemporary art and his artistic master's heart.

Zhang Kunshan, born in 1952 in Zibo City, Shandong Province, is a professional calligrapher of the Naval Political Department and a national first-class artist. He is a senior director of the Chinese Calligraphers Association and has been re-elected for more than 30 years since 1990 for the third, fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh terms. He is the deputy director of the Calligraphy Industry Construction Committee of the China Book Association, the vice president of the Naval Fine Arts Book Court, the president of the Beijing Guodu Moyun Calligraphy and Painting Institute, the researcher of the Rongbao Zhai Book Court, the member of the "Calligraphy Class" of the Central Museum of Culture and History, the evaluation expert of the National Art Fund of the Ministry of Culture, and enjoys the special contribution allowance of the State Council government.
He has participated in a series of calligraphy exhibitions sponsored by the China Book Association, the China Federation of Literature and Literature and the Ministry of Culture, such as the Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth and Sixth National Exhibitions, the National Calligraphy Exhibition of the Ministry of Culture and the International Calligraphy Exhibition, as well as the China Youth Exhibition, the YangLian Exhibition, the Cursive Book Exhibition, and the Previous All-Army Exhibition.
