  On October 9, the 17th "China Drama Festival" opened in Wuhan, and Jiao Huang, an 85-year-old drama performance artist, won the title of "Lifetime Achievement Dramatist of China Federation of Literary and Art Circles" in 2021.

  His parents are from Huai'an County, Zhangjiakou. His father, Jiao Shufan, graduated from the Department of Economics at Yenching University and studied under Situ Leiden. During the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Jiao Shufan served as the treasurer of the National Treasury Bureau of the Central Bank. In 1956, Jiao Shufan moved from Shanghai to Beijing and became a professor in the Department of Foreign Languages at the Beijing University of International Business and Economics. Her mother was the first woman in Huai'an city to go out of the house to become a teacher. Jiao Huang moved to Beijing with his family as a child and was admitted to the acting department of the Shanghai Theater Academy in 1955. He later joined the Shanghai Youth Repertory Theatre (later merged into the Shanghai Dramatic Arts Center) and is now a national first-class actor and a member of the Chinese Dramatists Association. He has starred in a series of stage works such as "Nothing Happens", "Anthony and Cleopatra", "Fighting Youth", "Red Room, White Room, Black Room", "Qin King Li Shimin" and so on. In addition, many classic images have been interpreted in film and television works, which are deeply loved by the people.
