Co-starred in the new crime thriller "Detective Detective" written and directed by the well-known director John Lee Hancock. Kern County Deputy Sheriff Jodicken, nicknamed Dick (Danzo Washington), is sent to Los Angeles for what should have been a simple and straightforward evidence-gathering mission. Instead, he was embroiled in a hunt for the serial killers who were ravaging the city. Led by Los Angeles County Sheriff Jim Bexter (Remy Malik), who is amazed by Dick's police instincts and seeks his help. But as the two track down the killer, Bexter is unaware that the investigation evokes Dick's unpleasant memories of the past, and the dark secrets unearthed may be more dramatic than threatening the investigation of the case.

Launched by Warner Bros. Pictures and produced by Gran Via Productions, Detective Detective will be released on January 28, 2021, the same day as HBO Max.
