Monty: Always communicating with Booker, only seeing him as a scorer shows that he doesn't understand the ball

Suns coach Monty Williams gave a media interview after today's training session.

Speaking about team defender Devon Booker, Monti said Booker had been in communication with him during his departure (as required by the health and safety protocol).

Monti said he was most impressed by Booker's trip to the Olympics when he boarded a plane with Ju Holliday and Chris Middleton to Tokyo after the finals.

Speaking about Booker's defense, Monty said: "I think people just see Booker as a scorer, and if you think that way, you really don't understand basketball. ”
