This is like Wang Yangming said in the "Biography of Lie", holding ambition is like heartache. Is there time for gossip and meddling in pain?
People in reality stick to their wishes like heartache.
For a moment, all my heart was focused on the pain. Where is the time and energy to gossip and nosy?

The higher the wisdom, the less greedy it is.

At first, the man wanted only food and clothing, and the snake fulfilled all his wishes.
Later, greed slowly arose, and he asked to become an official, and the snake also satisfied him.
It wasn't until he became prime minister that he asked to be emperor.
At this time, the snake finally realized that there was no bottom line to human greed, so it swallowed this person in one gulp.
It was the snake that swallowed the beggar, not the elephant, leaving behind the allusion that "the human heart is not enough for the snake to swallow the face".
Today, people gradually write that "the human heart is short, and the snake swallows the elephant" as a metaphor, believing that man will never be satisfied with greed, just as a snake is greedy and eventually wants to swallow an elephant.
In fact, the real greed is the human heart, not the snake.
According to Zhuangzi, the wren nests deep in the forest, but there is only one; the Yanshan Hidden River is full of it.
A bird's home in the forest occupies only one branch of countless trees. Squirrels drink water together, but are full at best.
This is to tell us not to be greedy, because greed is the root of many disasters.
Honey-greedy flies drown in the honey slurry. Some people want more out of greed, but they have lost everything they have now.
It has been said that greed is a mental illness, just like a congenital disability, it is an acquired disability; like a physical disability, it is a mental disability.
Isn't it pathological to crave something you don't really need?
Greed is a bottomless pit, contentment is an endless hiding.
People should get rid of greed and give up those superfluous and unnecessary things.
Because those things are "superfluous" to your happiness. According to Tao Jing, "Excess food is superfluous, and things are evil, so people who have a way have nowhere to find it."
Not only does it help you attain happiness, but it also hinders you from attaining happiness.
In life, a person should abandon his greed and pursue a calm and peaceful inner state.

In fact, the larger the pattern, the higher the wisdom, and the two complement each other.
A person's pattern determines his end: ability determines what you can get, and pattern determines how far you can go in the end.
It is the internal position, the bureau is the external situation. Pattern refers to a person's vision and mind, which reflects the external state.
Only the big realm can have a big mind, and the big pattern can make a difference. Behind the success is a big picture. What kind of pattern there is, what kind of fate there is!
Three outcomes of pomegranate seeds:
Planted in pots can only grow to a height of more than half a meter at most!
Put it in a jar and plant it, and it will grow to more than a meter tall!
Put it in the yard, plant it in a clearing, and it will grow to four or five meters high!
The limit is that the innings that a person sets for himself are too small!
It is impossible for everyone to be born with a golden key, but we can improve our situation and change our destiny through continuous progress.
It is better to read thousands of books than to travel thousands of miles, and it is better to travel thousands of miles than to read countless people. The books you have read, the roads you have traveled, and the people you have met not only determine your vision of life, but also constitute your life model.
To change your life patterns, you should do these three things well:
First, reading: change the temperament, precipitate the soul.
Zeng Guofan said: "People's temperament is innate and difficult to change, but only reading can change their temperament. People who were good at phase law in ancient times said that reading books could change the bone phase. ”
There is no difference between those who are in motion and those who do not exercise, and those who look at it once every other day. Every other month, the difference is small; but every five and ten years, there is a huge difference in physical and mental states. The same goes for reading. Those who read and those who do not read accumulate over time, and eventually become a world of difference.
Read more. The appearance changes naturally. Many times, I might think that so many of the books I've read have become a thing of the past that I can't remember anymore. In fact, they still have potential. In temperament, in conversation, in the boundless mind, of course, it may also be revealed in life and speech.
In fact, a book that a person has carefully read has long been integrated into his soul and precipitated into wisdom and emotion. As long as there is a point of contact, it will erupt.
Second, travel thousands of miles: all the way smooth, done, cherished.
If you read, you are between the lines, and the river flows slowly through thousands of miles. This trip is to learn from the mountains, rivers, lakes and seas, and read thousands of volumes from heaven and earth. To read is to travel inward, to the spiritual world. Travel is about reading a book outside and exploring the world.
As the saying goes, "read thousands of books, travel thousands of miles", while measuring the world with your own footsteps, you can also broaden your horizons. As your horizons broaden, you'll find that your life starts to make a difference.
When Sima Qian was 20 years old, he traveled to nine provinces. One of the greatest historical works in history, the Chronicle of History, was completed after Sima Qian's grand tour. He began to study thousands of books at the age of ten, and his father Sima Tan used the great scholars Kong Anguo and Dong Zhongshu as his teachers. At the age of twenty, Sima Tan gave him a carriage and guided him to a purposeful and planned field trip to the vast society, to contact the magnificent rivers and mountains and the customs and habits of the people in all directions, and to search for historical legends and various historical materials.
Sima Qian successfully completed this academic journey, "reading a wordless book, expressing the pride of mountains and rivers", and finally being able to "absorb the changes of ancient and modern times and become the words of a family".
There are also Li Bai, Wang Wei and so on. Who can write "Looking Back at the Eagle Shooting, Traveling Thousands of Miles at Night" and "The Bright Moon Rises from the Tianshan Mountains and Is in the Infinite Haze of the Sea of Clouds". "A Thousand Miles of Wind and Jade Pass Battlements" is such a heroic and heroic work. Can people who cannot stay outside of learning rely only on imagination?
Your pattern will gradually enlarge during the journey.
Third, meet people: near Zhu Zhichi, near Mexico is black.
The Warring States policy says: "Emperors and teachers, kings and friends, tyrants and subjects, the dead and the servants." It means a person with an imperial demeanor who gets along well with the teachers around him; a person who only wants to be a king gets along with the people around him at the level of "friends", and the person who dominates gets along with the "minister" who obeys him. The worst-case people get along with the "servants" around them.
So, it doesn't matter who you are, what matters is who you're with.
The so-called near Zhu Zhi Chi, near Mexico, the big pattern of friends will affect your life pattern. Friends with patterns will give you pertinent advice when you are confused and improve your living standards.
If you want to be smart, you should be with smart people, and you'll get smarter. If you want to excel, you have to stay with the best people and you're going to excel.
With what kind of people, there will be what kind of life. You won't be lazy with hard-working people; you won't be discouraged with positive people; you'll be different when you walk with the wise. When you're with your superiors, you can climb to the top.
So Confucius said: The beneficiary has three friends, and the loser has three friends. Zeng Guofan said that the success or failure of a lifetime depends on whether friends are good or not. Zeng Guofan also has a principle of eight skills and nine skills. To sum up, it is to give to the virtuous and stay away from the villain.
