Egypt, as one of the world's four major ancient civilizations, originated in the vast desert and there are many myths and legends, the most famous of which should be the legend of the pyramids, right?
The pyramid can be said to be a collection of countless rumors, and many mysterious events have occurred here. Of course, among the many rumors, the most frightening thing is probably the curse of the pharaoh!
The pyramids are the tombs of the pharaohs of the Kingdom of Egypt, and according to human habits, people should not let them go, after all, there are many treasures in them. But it is not easy for the pyramid to dig it up and thus go in to get the treasure, and as we mentioned earlier, the people who enter never come out.
But people never gave up the idea of finding the treasure of the pharaohs, and after some literature review, it was found that not all pharaohs had pyramid tombs, and the last Egyptian pharaoh, Tutankhamen, did not have his own pyramids, but was buried on the cliffs. As a result, people from all over the world gathered here and began to search for the tomb of Tutankhamun. In more than ten years of searching, the tomb of Tutankhamen has indeed appeared in people's field of vision, but there are endless curse events that follow.
In 1922, at a small opening in the cliffs of the Valley of the Kings, Carter, who had been searching for Tutankhamen for ten years, finally discovered the rumored Tomb of Tutankhamun, rekindling hope in his imminent desperate life. Because Carter himself was not a rich man, all his activities were sponsored by count Kanaphon V, but when he was ready to give up after ten years of fruitlessness, Carter finally gave his boss a satisfactory answer. Carter, who thought he could turn over the salted fish, embarked on another "road of no return" because of Tutankhamun's tomb, and has lived in a world that is hated by everyone since then.
As soon as Tutankhamun's tomb was discovered, Caernarphon V quickly began excavations with relevant personnel, setting up video crews to record his excavations. At the beginning of the mining, Carter, as the first person, discovered that there was such an inscription on the door of the tomb, which probably meant that whoever disturbed the peace of the pharaoh, the death wing would fall on him. You know, Carter was about to face a desperate situation, so he immediately arranged for someone to secretly destroy it, so that the excavation project could proceed smoothly. In the subsequent excavations, tutankhamun tombs did unearth a number of precious artifacts, including Tutankhamen's humanoid coffin, the most magical place of the humanoid coffin, or the source of the curse, is the golden mask located on it.
According to legend, during the mining process, the expert Kanafon V was suddenly bitten by a mosquito, and the next day, still itchy, he accidentally scratched the bag, and as a result, he was infected and left the world. Perhaps this did not cause any panic, the excavation of Tutankhamen's tomb and the exhibition of antiquities are still in preparation, but then one person after another mysteriously died, which finally made people feel strange.
After Kanafon V, the younger brother of Kanafon V also died in May 1923, when he was also involved in the excavation of cultural relics. Then there was the sudden death of his secretary, Charlie De Bosser, who also suffered a heart attack, followed by his father who left a suicide note and jumped off a building, stating that he could no longer endure these strange things. Then, according to relevant reports, many of the experts involved died 22 people, and for a time all the cultural relics of Tutankhamun were blocked, and Carter was once again in trouble. After all, because of this curse event, he lost all financial resources.
But is this really a curse? Later, in Carter's diary of a normally dead man, it was found that 26 people were involved in the excavations, but only 6 people died, including the photographer, the anatomist of Tutankhamun's entity, and Carter himself, and the remaining 20 people did not die mysteriously. It also shows that the curse was caused by a man named Arthur Wegor. Why did he do that?
It turned out that after the discovery of Tutankhamun's tomb, Wegel first found Carter and got the exclusive reporting rights, but what he did not expect was that Carter's boss Kanafeng V granted the exclusive reporting rights to the Times of London, and Wegor could only give up, but he was unwilling. After this, he discovered that many archaeologists, including Kanafon V, had died mysteriously, and began writing about the curse, which immediately dominated the mainstream.
As the incident unfolded, the curse seemed to be completely despised, so in 1972, the London Museum planned to re-exhibit the mask, but the person in charge at the time died mysteriously again. Panic was caused again, and the British Museum stopped exhibiting masks, and even now there is no clear statement about the curse.
The Egyptian pharaoh spanned the "curse" of thousands of years, and many experts who opened ancient tombs died mysteriously one after another. Of course, I personally think that all this is just for self-consolation, maybe everything is just a coincidence. Or maybe it's caused by something or something that people haven't discovered yet.
