If you have a chance to go to Sendai, then I recommend you take some more time to go to the stone scrolls. This small city in Minamisanriku received the name of the Land of Ten Thousand Paintings because of Shotaro Ishinomori.

From the station, we don't have to use any transportation, and it only takes about 10 minutes on foot (compared to the 2-hour journey of the Suka River, which I think is very user-friendly), and we can come to the Ishinomori Man's Painting Museum. Of course, these 10 minutes are not in vain, and the 1 km street is lined with statues of large and small comic characters, which is a true comic road.

Looking in the direction of the Star Prince, we can see the huge saucer-shaped building on Nakase Island. This silver "spaceship" is the Ishinomori Man's Painting Museum, which was established in 2001 and survived the 311 earthquake.

Entering the museum, the entire building is divided into three floors, and the first floor is mainly a paid and sold area. The staff are dressed in artificial human 009 costumes, red uniforms and yellow scarves, which makes people shine.
The ticket I bought was 840 yen, which was about 55 yuan at the exchange rate at that time. 840 yen includes the planning exhibition and the permanent exhibition, friends who are not interested in the planning exhibition can buy a regular ticket of 610 yen, and there are also student tickets for middle school students and elementary school students.

Follow the spiraling ramp to the exhibition hall on the second floor, which is divided by the manga theme created by Mr. Akitaro Ishinomori, and the two largest areas are Cyborg 009 and Kamen Rider.
Kamen Rider's exhibition hall also has some very old (disrepair) entertainment facilities, the picture quality is close to PS1, and it is paid for separately. The original manuscript exhibition hall is equipped with the manuscript of Mr. Shotaro Ishinomori, and photography is not allowed, so if you are interested, it is worth being patient and carefully watched. In addition, there are three short films of about 30 minutes in the screening room, which are available in time and are interested in suggesting that they all be watched.

Matsushima
From the perspective of itinerary, I recommend taking a boat trip to Matsushima in the morning and going to Ishinomaki City in the afternoon, with natural scenery and cultural landscapes, and the itinerary is relatively rich. It takes about an hour to take the Sengokushi Line from the Matsushima coast to Ishinomaki City, and it takes about an hour and a half to get back to Sendai Station from Ishinomaki City, so if you buy a one-day ticket for transportation around Sendai, it cannot be used in Ishinomaki City and needs to be replenished manually.
Ishinomaki City is a small city, the supporting facilities are not perfect, there is no mature business district, it is more suitable for friends who do not want to go shopping with their girlfriends (family) to go alone, you can also choose to take your children with you, go shopping, buy food or go back to Sendai.
By the way, after Mr. Ishinomori died in 1998, he also had his own shrine, and manga creators can go to the Mankaku Shrine to pray for good luck.
