In the evening, Hedgehog went to visit Bear to drink tea and count the stars. On the way, he saw a white horse in the fog and thought: "If the horse goes to bed, will it drown in the fog?" Hearing someone's voice in the distance, Hedgehog began to rush from side to side until he fell into the river. The river carried him downstream, then "Someone Silent" helped hedgehog get to the shore, where he was found by Bear. While Bear was talking, talking, Hedgehog thought: "It's still good that we are together again," and he also thought about the horse "How is it there, in the fog?".

Hedgehog in the Mist, Russian picture book
Evaluation:
"In The Hedgehog in the Fog, Y. Norstein talks about the first contact with the mysteries of existence, about the mystery of all things, about the ridiculous tragedy that exists in the world, and about its ultimate kindness. This film, full of the finest psychological nuances, testifies that there are no such shades of human feelings that could not be expressed by means of puppet animation. "
