Yangchun March, the motherland,

As one of the first spring recruits,
From the local to the barracks, from civilian clothes to camouflage,
What kind of growth and transformation will you face,
They have expectations, questions, reluctance, and trepidation.
On March 16, a new training brigade of the Southern Theater Air Force welcomed the first batch of new recruits. The author followed all the way, recording what they saw and heard when they entered the camp. In the morning, high-speed rail trains from all over the country arrived at the station one after another, and among the passengers who came out of the fish, a team of well-dressed teenagers lined up at the platform. Immediately, they boarded the bus bound for the barracks.
Gongs and drums are noisy, red flags are displayed... When the bus just entered the camp gate, all the backbone of the new training brigade welcomed them, instantly injecting a warm current into the hearts of the nervous recruits. The induction ceremony of the recruits organized by the new battalions was also launched.
In accordance with the requirements of the ordinance, the entrance inspection point is first organized. The commanders of each battalion announced the order for inspection, and the backbone of the recruit squad leaders inspected the materials carried by the recruits one by one, and registered and registered all kinds of items and packaged them for unified storage.
After announcing the new recruit distribution plan, in the face of the battalion commander's question of "whether there is confidence" and the resounding answer of "yes, yes, yes", the determination and arrogance of the recruits and squad leaders were shouted. Subsequently, the squad leaders of the recruits led the team back to the dormitories where the recruits were located.
"The first time I saw the square quilts and flat sheets up close, it was so shocking." Teng Sihao, a college student soldier from Guangxi, had just entered the dormitory and was deeply attracted by the internal hygiene in front of him.
Entering the barracks is a new journey in life, and it is certain to start from the "head", and the "3 millimeters" of the whole color has added another military flavor to the recruits.
"Let's report peace in the house!" Political instructors from the three battalions of the New Training Brigade went into the dormitories and talked to everyone. "Where is the hometown", "The road is not smooth", "the environment is not adapted", "What is the feeling of entering the military camp when you first enter the barracks"... In the cold and warm, the recruits gradually relaxed.
"Parents, please rest assured that your son will adjust his state as soon as possible, quickly integrate into life, constantly challenge himself, and strive to become a qualified soldier." Recruit He Rimao made a solemn promise to his parents during the video call.
A set of "combination fists" to help recruits take the first step in the military

On the evening of March 17, the new training brigade of a certain air force base in the Central Theater successfully completed the first batch of new recruits to join the battalion in the spring, and will continue to receive more than 800 new recruits in the next 10 days. These "00s", with their personal dreams and family expectations, stepped into the fiery military camp from the north and south of the motherland.
It is understood that the annual spring recruits are mainly for graduates of previous universities, full-time undergraduates, and fresh graduates of specialized colleges and universities who are about to graduate, and most of the recruits directly move from academies to military barracks, sending highly educated, high-quality, and high-ability talents to the troops.
Here, they are about to start a 3-month enlistment education and training for recruits. A set of "combination punches" that help them quickly enter the role in the quenching and steel of the barracks.
First Punch: Organize your first greeting
As the night grew darker, the icy rain and the wet uniforms did not diminish the enthusiasm for the welcome. The scene was noisy with gongs and drums, and everyone welcomed the arrival of new comrades with warm applause. Despite the rush of the journey, the enthusiasm and care of the squad leaders made the recruits feel warm.
Second Punch: Eat your first meal well
"After a day in the car, tired or not?" Hurry up and eat a hot meal! The care of the leaders made the new comrades feel a strong warmth.
"Get on the dumplings, get off the noodles." The original meaning was that guests from afar came and ate noodles first to express a kind of hospitality and welcome as the host, while in the barracks it was called "rooted noodles". When you come to the army, you must take root in the barracks, love the barracks, and dedicate yourself to the barracks.
The third punch: implement the first point test
"Personal belongings are checked one by one, and the whole process is videotaped..." As the battalion commander Shi Yao issued the order for inspection, everyone began to get busy again. After the meal, the recruits ushered in their first point of inspection after enlistment.
Fourth Punch: Make your first safe call
"Mom, I have arrived safely in the army, it is very good here, the squad leader is particularly enthusiastic, you can rest assured!" After the inspection, the recruit company organized each recruit to report to the family that they were safe.
Fifth Fist: Talk about the first heart
"Xiao Liu, where are you from..." After a short rest, the squad leader and the recruits talked about the homely, kind words, so that the recruits gradually opened their hearts.
Sixth Punch: Point out the first place
"Look to the right! Look ahead..." With a command, everyone's movements were uniform. "Sun Xu!" "To!" "Hua Zhengkang!" "To!" The sound of "to" is sonorous and powerful, making people's blood boil.
Seventh Punch: Serve the first cup of ginger tea
"Drink this cup of ginger tea first, don't get cold!" A warm greeting, a cup of ginger tea, let the recruits who worked hard for a day feel the warmth of the barracks. This is not only a continuation of the fine traditions of the troops, but also a true embodiment of leading the troops with affection.
Eighth Punch: Check the first shop
At 2 a.m., the recruits were all asleep. The company cadres carefully and meticulously went to each dormitory to check the position of personnel and cover the quilts for the "dishonest" recruits who slept.
On the first night of the barracks, they slept soundly.
