Shaoxing Jidong Town is a mountainous area, and there is a mountain village called Tongjialing in the town, which is more than 400 meters above sea level.

There is a woman in the village named Ye Zi, who is in her fifties this year, and she has been in a wheelchair for many years and lives with her parents who are 70 or 80 years old.

A family of three, living by growing tea and incense. Every spring during the tea picking season, their family brings a special group of guests, and this year is no exception.

Bring your own meals, and about thirty people pick tea for a day

Last weekend, the weather was good, and from the city of Shaoxing, about thirty people wearing red coats drove into the mountain village.

They go to the leaf house to pick tea leaves.

The tea field is on the hillside behind Ye Zi's house.

"Come on! Pick more buds! It's going to rain tomorrow..."

These special guests are volunteers of the Shaoxing Shuren Service Team.

They set off from the city early in the morning, drove more than 40 kilometers, and rushed to Yezijia in the Eastern Mountains of Shaoxing at an altitude of 400 meters.

Leaf lives in a wheelchair and has been cared for by her parents. Although she is in her fifties, the volunteers like to call her Leaf Girl.

Ye Zi's father is 86 years old and his mother is 78 years old, both of whom are old people with white hair.

This time, everyone did not see Yezi's old father, who had been hospitalized for a week because of a heart attack, and only the old mother accompanied Yezi at home.

The other day, the mountain tea picking is also spending money to hire people to pick it.

The arrival of the volunteers was timely.

Everyone carried the bamboo basket and scattered it to the tea mountain, and it was noon in a flash.

The volunteers who were organized into a cooking group in the Yezi family went up the hillside and shouted: Come down to eat, and then dry in the afternoon.........

In order not to burden the Yezi family, the volunteers specially brought a variety of vegetables and fruits from the bottom of the mountain, and set up a cooking group to serve everyone a midday meal.

They picked the tea leaves for a day, and although they stood with sore back pain, everyone was still very happy.

"I hope that our team can insist on helping the Yezi family improve the economy, after all, Yezi's parents are getting older!" On the way down the hill, a tree man volunteer said.

For four years, I helped pick tea and sell tea every year

This is the fourth spring.

For the volunteers, for the past four years, every year during the tea picking season, they will go up the mountain to help the leaf girl in a wheelchair.

In 2017, through the activities of assisting the disabled, the Shaoxing Shuren Service Team learned that there was such a family of three in Tongjialing Village, which is far away in the deep mountains of Jidong: the octogenarian father and the septuagenarian mother worked hard to take care of the sick daughter Yezi, who was in her forties all day long.

And Ye Zi was injured by an unfortunate fall at the age of three, resulting in a disabled leg and having to rely on a wheelchair to live... Also because of the disease, Ye Zi still lives under the eaves of his parents and cannot start a family.

In that year, after visiting the Yezi family several times, the volunteers decided to help Yezi's elderly parents pick and sell tea from 2018...

Because Ye Zi's old father, who has a bad heart, not only has to ask someone to help pick tea, but also waits until the tea picking season starts, but also takes a car to sell tea in the tea market in Jidong Town every morning, and the sales volume cannot be guaranteed...

One volunteer recalled that in the first year, most of the volunteers could not pick new tea, and it was Yezi's mother who taught everyone hand in hand. There are many people with great strength, and soon everyone picks a lot of new tea. Another group of volunteers brought fish, meat, vegetables, etc., and made a hearty lunch.

The tea leaves that have just been picked are immediately stir-fried, and the aroma of the tea leaves fills the whole yard. In the first year, all the tea leaves of the Yezi family were ordered, solving the sales problem of her family.

Although the volunteer service team changes its president every year, the special task this spring will continue every year.

In this way, every year, the volunteers in the team are called on to go up the mountain to pick tea collectively and order the alpine green tea of the Yezi family.

Every year, they can help the Yezi family buy nearly 70 kilograms of tea, and the price per kilogram is about 200 yuan.

This spring is the same, a few days before going up the mountain to pick tea, the volunteers of the tree people team ordered the alpine tea leaves of the Yezi family in the group, and tried to make this special deep mountain family pick tea worry-free.

In addition to tea leaves, there are also fragrant trees.

Last fall, seeing Ye Zi selling his own family's incense in the circle of friends, the TreeMan Service Team called on volunteers to order alpine incense, and as a result, the whole team bought more than 100 catties, solving the new sales problem of The Leaf Family.

Not only to help the Yezi family sell agricultural products, the tree people team also specially arranged for yezi, who had never left the mountain, to play scenic spots such as Lu Xun's hometown in Shaoxing, and arranged free hotel accommodation in advance.

This made Ye Zi's mother burst into tears: "My daughter has never taken a car to Shaoxing City to play or stay in a hotel until she met this group of kind volunteers of the Shaoxing Shuren Service Team..."
