In the Cantonese pop music market after 2000, Tang Zhiwei is a name that cannot be ignored. In the 12 years from 2000 to 2012, he wrote more than 300 songs for TVB and has worked with most singers in Hong Kong, China. For example, Lin Feng's songs such as "Love Finds You in Memory", "Childish End", "Love Is Not Guilty" and other songs have spread to the whole country with the help of TVB dramas. In addition, he has also produced songs such as Karen Mok's "Breathing Harmful", Joey Yung's "Sequel", "Serial", "Close Friend" and so on. After moving to the mainland in 2014, Deng Zhiwei also composed songs for many mainland dramas and singers, including Ren Jialun's "Ruyi", Zhou Bichang's "Moon Leaving People", Chen Linong's "Young innocence", Yang Zongwei's "I am waiting for you at the end of time" and other songs.
Deng Zhiwei is well known for his status as a gold medal producer and TVB music director, but in fact he is also an excellent singer-songwriter, which is also his most valued identity. In the 1990s, he formed the band Primary Shapes, which is unique in the underground music scene in Hong Kong, China, for its elegant temperament and melody, and in 2000, the band's debut EP "bELL LAB" was strongly recommended by the Hong Kong media in China, and in 2004, the band was invited to participate in several music festivals, during which the band took the work to the United Kingdom to visit the label Melankolic founded by Massive Attack. Positive feedback was received from the label. Two years later, the band released their first studio-length album, Here There Everywhere, which was also popular with fans and the media.
This time, Deng Zhiwei once again stepped out of the background and took the stage as a singer-songwriter. He said: "This scene is not only a parallel memory of you and me, but also let everyone see the new me and bring the singing works belonging to Deng Zhiwei. I hope that the atmosphere of the scene can bring you enjoyment. ”
The performance also invited the local band "Whale Wave" in Guangzhou and the musician "Shi Miaoli Vacuum Cleaner" to help.
