China's ancient myths are broad and profound, with a long history, and various heroes and heroes have emerged. In chronological order, the ancient myths are divided into three eras, namely pangu creation, the war of the gods, and the salvation of the ancient gods.

Pangu in ancient mythology is not a simple giant image, he is a half-human, half-dragon giant, carrying the blood of the dragon clan. In the "Three-Five Calendar", it is recorded: "Pangu dragon body head, the first pole east, the foot pole west, the left hand pole south, the right hand pole north, open eyes into day, eyes into night, exhale for summer, inhale for cold, blow into wind and clouds, and chirp into thunder." ”
The Age of Creation began with Pangu, but it did not end. Nuwa fabricated earth to create people, so that the heavens and earth created by Pangu had aura and vitality. Mortals are very fragile after they appear, and Fuxi teaches people the basic skills of survival, such as fishing and hunting, making tools, and so on. Later, emperor Fu found fire again, and he taught mortals how to make fire. Pangu opened the heavens, Nuwa created people, Fuxi people, and flint people made fire, and at this point, the era of creation was basically over.

In ancient mythology, the world began to multiply after Pangu opened up the world. However, the good times did not last long, and there was a great war between the ancient gods, and the ancient gods appeared in this era, and the myths and legends were also the richest. The War of the Gods mainly has two major battles, one is the Yanhuang War, and the other is the Gonggong War Zhu Rong. These two great wars are recorded in mythological texts such as the Classic of Mountains and Seas and the Huainan Zi.
The Yellow Emperor joined forces with the Yan Emperor to defeat the Jiuli tribe of Xuan You. The YanDi appeared earlier than the Yellow Emperor, who was the god of agriculture and medicine in ancient mythology, nicknamed "Shennong". The Yellow Emperor came to the top, and he first subdued Emperor Yan's Shennong tribe, and then asked Emperor Yan to help him join forces to fight against The Jiuli tribe of Xuan you. The ancient gods under the Yellow Emperor were very strong, especially the ancient dragon god Ying Long. In the final deer-chasing battle, Ying Long not only beheaded Xuan You's general Quao's father, but also beheaded Xuan You.
The "Battle of Water and Fire" between Gonggong and Zhu Rong took place after the "Battle of chasing deer". After the Yellow Emperor's grandson Huan Huan became Emperor Tian, Gonggong disobeyed, and he rebelled against Huan. Zhu Rong, the sworn enemy of the gonggong, was strong, but in the end it was defeated by Zhu Rong. Gonggong failed, and in anger, he broke the Pillar of Heaven and the Zhou Mountain. This causes the sky to tilt to the northwest, so the sun, moon, and stars all move to the northwest; the earth sinks to the southeast, so the rivers, lakes, and seas all flow in a southeasterly direction.

After the Great War of the Gods, The Three Realms were peaceful for many years until various natural disasters occurred in heaven and earth. In the era of the salvation of the ancient gods in ancient mythology, three major events occurred, one was The Great Yu Zhi Shui, one was nuwa to repair the heavens, and the other was the Nine Days of Yi Shooting.
In ancient times, the great flood caused the people to live in poverty, and Dayu led the people to fight against the flood in the natural disaster, "three times through the door and not in", and finally won the victory. According to the Classic of Mountains and Seas, after Ying Long killed Xuan You, the loss of divine power was too great to fly back to the Celestial Realm, so he remained in the mortal sea. When Da Yu was curing the water, Ying Long, who remained in the mortal world, took his dragon sons and grandchildren to help Da Yu control the water, and he also personally "drew the ground with his tail" in front of him and dug the waterway.
Legend has it that in ancient times, the sky collapsed and the world fell into a huge disaster. Nuwa could not bear the disaster of living beings, so she refined five-colored stones to make up the sky, folded the feet of the gods and turtles to support the four poles, calmed the flood and killed the beasts, and eliminated the yin and yang, and all the spirits were able to live in peace. Later generations made up according to this myth, because the gonggong hit the Buzhou Mountain and caused the heavens and the earth to collapse, and only then did the Nuwa make up for the heavens. Nuwa made up for the heavens, leaving a sacred stone, which became Sun Wukong under Wu Cheng'en's pen.
After the yellow period, ten suns appeared in the sky, resulting in an incomparable drought on earth and no grass. Da Yi shot down nine suns with his divine bow and killed six Ancient Fierce Beasts. The Classic of Mountains and Seas records a great battle between the great yi and the chiseled teeth of the fierce beast, "The yi and the chiseled teeth fought in the field of Shouhua, and the yi shot and killed them." In Kunlun Void East, Yi holds a bow and arrow, and chisels a shield. In addition to chiseling his teeth, Dayi also beheaded five ancient fierce beasts, including hedgehogs, nine babies, gales, fengfeng, and snakes.
