Saint Laurent has just unveiled its Spring 21 collection of clothing jewelry, and this season's work is a replica of a set of fine jewelry designed for the brand by French sculptor Claude Lalanne in the 1960s.

Natural creatures such as vines, flowers, butterflies, and dragonflies are transformed into gorgeous accessories around the neck, waist and ears of the model, which exude tribal romance and poetry.

Claude Lalanne (1924-2019) is a 20th century French sculptor and accessories designer, most of her works are based on flowers, animals and other natural elements, through casting, electroplating and other processes to "freeze" natural creatures into vivid and realistic metal sculptures, the lines are casual and full of decoration.

In 1969, Yves Saint Laurent collaborated with Lalanne on the body jewelry in the form of an armor that pairs it with a soft chiffon dress that blends fashion with sculptural art.

The new season of clothing jewelry uses brass and crystal as the main materials, using casting molding, electroplating and other processes to make vines, flowers, butterflies and other animal and plant shapes, asymmetrical design to restore the vigorous vitality of vines in nature, slightly exaggerated size around the neck through the wild romantic atmosphere.

The long necklace features a rugged double-layered brass chain with a pendant in the shape of a bud and a flexible metal tassel that makes the necklace look lighter.

Another long necklace shows the dragonfly falling on white crystal, like a sculptural work of art, full of the romance and poetry of nature.

The most eye-catching accessory in the new season Lookbook is a camellia collar, inspired by the style of the heroine in the 1972 French film Bitter Tears of Petra von Kant, using lacquered calf leather to make a three-dimensional full camellia, introducing red, black and white three colors, short Chocker around the neck retro and feminine.

The dahlia brooch is made from a soft and flowing silk fabric, and the translucent material is romantic and ethereal, which injects a fairy breath into the shape.

The new floral earrings are colour-coloured and playful, crafted from resin, enamel and metal, with hand-painted flowers that are girly. The back is designed with ear clips, and girls without pierced ears can also wear them.
