I saw a beautiful Vietnamese hairdresser sister again

author:Professor Chen of Laos

Next to the Vientiane Zoo Market, there was a small barber shop where I went to cut my hair. The owner's sister is cutting the nails of a French customer. In addition to hairdressing and hairdressing, Vietnamese barbershops also do services such as ear picking and nail cutting.

These kinds of Vietnamese barber shops have infiltrated all corners of Laos and are usually staffed with two people – a beautiful shopkeeper and an apprentice.

The Vietnamese hairdresser Xiaomei quickly occupied most of the market in Laos with her high appearance, good technology and warm service. At the same time, they are not afraid of getting dirty and tired, and many Laotians do not do projects, such as ear pedicure, etc., and Vietnamese sisters do not abandon it. This further increases the advantage of competing with locals.

The Vietnamese barber shop I pictured, more than two years ago, the cost of a single cut was 10,000 yuan, which was equivalent to 8 yuan at that time. At that time, the price of the Lao shop was 15,000 old coins. However, later this little sister also raised the price of a single cut to 15,000 old coins.

To this day, many Laotians have never come into the shop to get a haircut. They were all at home, and Mom and Dad or siblings took a pair of scissors and cut their hair. Therefore, the barber industry still has great potential for development in Laos.
