On 22 July 2021, the Snooker Champions League continued. As the first Chinese player to debut, Browning achieved an unbeaten record of 2 wins and 1 draw, becoming the first amateur player to win the first place in the group since the beginning of the tournament, and joined hands with Fude in the 3rd group to qualify. Evans ushered in his first game as a professional player, but eventually drew 2 and lost 1, at the bottom of the group.

Browning was unfortunately relegated last season and although he was unable to regain his professional qualification in the subsequent Q School, he received a higher professional substitute pick due to his excellent overall results. In this Champions League, Browning won the opportunity to play in the 10th group as an amateur player, becoming the first Chinese player to appear in this competition.
Before the start of the tournament, the highest-ranked professional player in the group, Ronin, retired from the tournament and was replaced by amateur player Foti. Faced with a more balanced promotion situation, Browning seized the opportunity, and he beat Foti and Grace 3-0 in his first two matches, and two clean sheets allowed Browning to secure the promotion in the first round. In the final round, Browning drew 2-2 with Ajayib, remaining unbeaten, becoming the first amateur to break into the second stage since the opening of the tournament.
"Queen" Evans ushered in the first race as a professional player. Evans drew with Lichtenberg and Ford in her first two matches, and if Evans could win the final match, she had every chance to advance, but unfortunately she lost 1-3 to Blackwell, the weakest in the group. In the end, the record of 2 draws and 1 loss only allowed Evans to rank 4th in the group.
Evans' final defeat turned the showdown between Ford and Lichtenberg into a group "final" – Lichtenberg could qualify by drawing, and Ford needed to win to qualify. In the end, Fude, who won the first two games of the group stage, beat Lichtenberg 3-1 to win his first victory of the day, and completed the overtaking at the last moment, winning the first place in the group and advancing to the second stage.
