So Nobita clones himself using a gadget, and then when he goes shopping, he sends this clone of himself to Doraemon's house to replace his real self so that he has time to date.
At the mall, Shizuka asks Nobita to help her choose what to buy. He then had an idea and created a clone for Shizuka.
