June 25 is the Dragon Boat Festival, a traditional festival of the Chinese nation. On the same day, the Yao compatriots in Huangshi Village, Butou Town, Babu District, Hezhou City, Guangxi Province, and the Amei compatriots of the TaibaYuan Tribe in Guangfu Township, Hualien County, Taiwan, held folk exchange activities such as the Rice Dumpling Wrapping Contest on the "Cloud" to share cultural customs, share cultural customs, share family ties between the two places, and celebrate the festival in a lively and lively manner.

At the scene of the Rice Dumpling Wrapping Competition, the Yao compatriots and Ami compatriots each introduced the materials and allusions of the local Rice Dumplings, and used the old craftsmanship, old ingredients and old taste inherited from their ancestors to awaken everyone's traditional memory of the traditional festival. When everyone put the wrapped zongzi in front of the camera to show the compatriots in the distance, they found that the original Yao traditional zongzi "Tangcang" and the traditional Ami zongzi "Ali Fengfeng" are so similar in materials and techniques, in fact, they are from the same vein. The fragrance of rice dumpling leaves seems to cross the strait through the network, staying between the sniffles, as if the relatives of compatriots are close at hand.

After the Yao compatriots took the lead in completing the production of rice dumplings, they immediately prepared materials to make the Dragon Boat Festival, yao embroidery sachets, which contained cinnabar, male yellow, and incense, and were outsourced with silk cloth, embroidered with various color patterns, formed into a bunch, exquisite and dazzling, and prayed for the blessings of distant compatriots. The Ami compatriots danced a traditional dance on the other side, dancing like wearing a butterfly, thanking the Yao compatriots for their blessings and care.

Wu Yizhen, a representative of the villagers of Guangfu Township in Hualien County, Taiwan, and head of the Aphalon Art Troupe, said after the event: "The two sides of the strait have the same roots, and the epidemic cannot cut off the ties between compatriots. It is hoped that in the future, more similar activities will be held to build a platform for exchanges and interactions between ethnic minorities in the two places, and to strengthen exchanges between ethnic minorities in the two places, and it is also very much expected that the epidemic will slow down, the two sides of the strait will resume navigation as soon as possible, and the ethnic minorities in the two places will be able to reunite, sing and dance friends, and drink wine.
