Promoted by the government, market-led, and the main body of enterprises, the whole province plays a game of chess, and works together to promote the accelerated development of The Tea Industry in Guizhou, accelerate the transformation, and catch up with the latecomers, forming the Guizhou style, Guizhou temperament, and Guizhou pattern, creating the "Guizhou Speed" of the development of China's tea industry, and contributing the "Guizhou Experience" to the high-quality development of china's tea industry.

The Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau is the origin of tea plants in the world, and the 1.64 million-year-old "tea seed fossil" in Guizhou has become a strong proof that China is the origin of tea plants in the world. Guizhou has a long history of tea production, the territory of ancient tea tree resources are rich, in Xishui, Jinsha, Yanhe, Huaxi and other places so far distributed more than 600 kinds of various types of more than 1 million ancient tea trees, is the development of Guizhou tea industry valuable wealth, but also in the history of the development of China's tea industry in the history of living fossils.

Guizhou is the only plateau tea province in China that combines low latitude, high altitude, cloudy fog and pollution-free, with excellent ecological environment and unique natural conditions for the development of the tea industry. Guizhou tea garden banned 128 kinds of pesticides, much more stringent than the 62 kinds of national regulations, the total ban on glyphosate, armyworm board, to maximize the protection of the tea garden ecological environment and tea quality and safety.

Guizhou tea germplasm resources are abundant, the Republic of China Central Experimental Tea Farm (the predecessor of the Guizhou Tea Research Institute) director of the technical room Li Lianbiao in the last century in the most difficult 40 years of the last century, the collection and preservation of more than 460 tea plant varieties specimens across the country. Up to now, there are 10 national fine varieties in Guizhou that have been approved and registered by the state, and 15 varieties have obtained plant new variety rights certificates. Successfully introduced Fuding Dabai Tea, Anji White Tea, Golden Bud, Zhonghuang No. 1, Jin Guanyin, Golden Peony, Longjing 43, China Tea 108 and other domestic excellent varieties.

Guizhou is an important production area of famous tea in China. The unique natural ecological environment has bred China's high-quality green tea represented by "Duyun Maojian", "Meitan Cuiya", "Emerald", etc., which has the quality characteristics of "emerald green, tender chestnut fragrance and strong taste"; it has also bred Guizhou high-quality black tea represented by "Zunyi Red". Overall, the quality characteristics of Guizhou tea can be summarized as "fresh, fragrant, strong and mellow".

"Fresh". Amino acids are the main substances of tea soup fresh taste, and the standard of "Evaluation Specification for Excellent Germplasm Resources of Crops - Tea Plant" stipulates that the free amino acid content ≥5.0% is a specific tea germplasm resource. Guizhou tea amino acid content is generally high, Guizhou early spring green tea total amino acids of 4% - 6%, the average content of the province as high as 5.6%, which for Guizhou tea extraordinary freshness laid the main material foundation. During the planned economy period, Guizhou Zhenmei green tea was praised as "green tea monosodium glutamate" by export tea blenders.

"Incense". Guizhou tea garden mountain high fog, rich vegetation, good biodiversity, not only tea tree new shoots hold good tenderness, and can form a rich aroma precursor substance. Guizhou green tea is mainly based on the fragrance of young chestnuts. The main signature ingredients of the fragrance are cis-3-hexenol and geraniol, and the main signature ingredients of the chestnut are pyrazine, pyrrole and carbohydraldehyde. The unique tender chestnut aroma of Guizhou green tea is a perfect combination of these two aromatic ingredients, and it is long-lasting.

"Thick". The superior natural environment, excellent tea varieties and ecological and efficient cultivation mode have given Guizhou green tea a wealth of intrinsic ingredients, forming a strong taste and durable quality characteristics. The average content of green tea extract in Guizhou is as high as 45.8%, which is 11.8 percentage points higher than the national standard of green tea water extract ≥ 34%.

"Alcohol". Guizhou green tea is not only rich in substances, but also has a quite coordinated composition of flavored substances. The high level of total free amino acids (the average content of the province is 5.61%) and the moderate content of tea polyphenols (the average content of the province is 19.13%), forming an ammonia / phenol ratio of up to 0.29 (tea with ammonia / phenol ratio greater than 0.2 is more suitable for processing high-grade green tea, and the greater the ratio, the better the quality of green tea), creating the taste characteristics of Guizhou green tea "strong alcohol and not astringent".

The quality chemical analysis data of Guizhou tea fully show that Guizhou green tea has three characteristics: high water extract, high ammonia/phenol ratio and high amino acids, which gives Guizhou green tea the excellent quality characteristics of "fresh, fragrant, concentrated and alcoholic".

Guizhou black tea is mostly processed in small and medium-sized varieties, which also has the outstanding characteristics of high amino acid content and high ammonia/phenol ratio, and the quality characteristics of Guizhou black tea fresh, fragrant, sweet and alcohol are increasingly favored by consumers at home and abroad.
