  On the 17th, the reporter visited some fruit wholesale markets, supermarkets and fruit shops in Urumqi and learned that most of the apricots on the market are early ripening varieties, such as Suletan apricot (commonly known as Li Guangxing), "Fengyuan Red" apricots, etc., which have just been listed in small supply, mainly from Turpan City Toksun County, Bazhou Luntai County and other places, the current wholesale price ranges from 15 yuan to 27 yuan per kilogram, and the retail price ranges from 30 yuan to 40 yuan per kilogram. It is expected that by the end of this month, apricots from all over Xinjiang will be listed one after another, and wholesale prices and retail prices will continue to decline.

  "The apricots that started selling the day before yesterday are retailed at 30 yuan per kilogram." At about 11 o'clock on the same day, at a fruit shop on Jiankang Road in Tianshan District, the owner Chen Lishan was laying out the apricots that had just been purchased.

  Chen Lishan said that customers who like to eat sour apricots have bought more in the past few days and can sell three or four boxes a day. Some regular customers like apricots with a sweeter taste and will suggest that they buy more in a week.

  Walking into the fruit sales area of China Resources Wanjia Supermarket Wenquan East Road Store, Li Guangxing, which is transparent and red, is divided into two packaging methods: bulk and boxed, the retail price of small white apricots is 39.8 yuan per kilogram, and the preferential price of Li Guangxing is 22.8 yuan per kilogram.

  "Just two or three days after the listing, the supply is not large, and there are still a lot of customers." Li Xin, manager of the administrative department of Xinjiang China Resources Wanjia Life Supermarket Co., Ltd., said that the apricot sales period can be sold from May to August every year.

  In the Fruit Bazaar in the south and north of the Grand Bazaar Pedestrian Street, the small white apricots placed at the entrance are also very popular with tourists.

  "Many tourists will buy two boxes to try it out, and some customers will place orders and send couriers in the store." Zhang Haifeng, the manager of the store, said that there is an "apricot" Fu Express cultural theme museum in the store, and many tourists will buy some apricots to taste after visiting.

  Xinjiang is rich in apricot varieties, with more than 100 known varieties. Every year, Turpan apricots ripen first, followed by a large number of small white apricots in Kucha, Luntai and other places; from mid-June to mid-July, mainly Semati apricots in Ingisha County and other places; and in August, it is mainly black-leaf apricots planted near the mountains.

  These days, Toxon County apricots have begun to sell all over the country. Cetini Yazi Setivaridi, director of the Forest fruit industry technology promotion center of Toxon County, introduced in the telephone that the total area of apricot trees planted in Toxon County this year reached 77,000 mu, and the current fruit area is 55,000 mu, and the main varieties are Suletan apricot, large white apricot, small white apricot, golden sun, Kate apricot and so on. This year, due to the low temperature climate and windy weather in early spring, production is lower than that of the same period last year.
