Annoying lice disease

Refers to infectious skin diseases ☞ caused by lice bites and blood sucking. The disease can be transmitted directly from person to person (pubic lice are sexually transmitted diseases) or indirectly through bedding, clothing and hats.

Causes: Healthy people are exposed to pubic lice, which can lay eggs on people's pubic hair or the eggs of lice are suitable for adhering to fabric fibers.

【Clinical Manifestations】

1. Head lice: mainly occurs in childhood (especially in the 80s, which has been experienced in rural areas). Lice eggs may be found in the hair.

3. Pubic lice: the patient or his/her spouse has a history of unclean sexual contact, or has been outside the home before the onset of illness. Pruritus is evident in the pubic hair, especially at night, and the spouse or sexual partner may have similar symptoms. Gray-white sandy granules (lice eggs) and slow-moving pubic lice are visible on the pubic hair, which can also be half burrowed into the skin and half exposed outside the skin. The patient's underwear is a bit of a stained brown blood stain, which is caused by bleeding from the blood sucking site of the pubic lice.

Diagnosis: Depending on clinical presentation and history of infection, the diagnosis is confirmed by the detection of adult lice or lice eggs.

Prevention: Lice are infectious diseases, and should be treated with equal emphasis, avoid contact with patients, and strictly disinfect pollutants.

Treatment: head lice patients should shave their heads and apply drugs, female patients use a dense grate to grate the lice and lice eggs, and then use 50% 100 tinctures, 25% benzoate emulsion to rub the hair, 2 times a day, wash the hair with hot water soap on the 3rd day. Pubic lice can be shaved and then applied to sulfur ointment.
