From the perspective of provinces and cities, from January to June, Jiangsu Province, Henan Province, Shandong Province, Qinghai Province and Hebei Province are the areas with more soda ash (sodium carbonate) production in China. Among them, Jiangsu Province has the largest output, reaching 2.5233 million tons, accounting for 17.01% of the national proportion, followed by Henan Province, Qinghai Province and Shandong Province, with output of 2.4783 million tons, 2.1893 million tons and 2.1095 million tons respectively.
