This shocked Nie Shuaidu for a time, knowing that in the history of the Party in our country, there are only a few high-ranking generals who have been executed by Order of Chairman Mao, not to mention the fact that such brave and warlike generals were directly ordered to be shot when the war was fierce.

If we want to sort out this matter, we must start from Huang Shoufa arriving at the Jizhong Military Region.

In July 1946, after the re-election of the Jizhong Military Region, Huang Shoufa officially became the chief of staff of the Jizhong Military Region, but he was reluctant, and he wanted to directly command the troops to fight with the Kuomintang frontline and win military merit.

Sun Yi, who was the commander at the time, considered that the party's distribution was naturally reasonable, so he ignored Huang Shoufa's complaints, but he did not expect that Huang Shoufa directly found his old leader and approved a note, which meant "allowing Huang Shoufa to fight and manage logistics", and Sun Yi finally compromised.

In the later war, Sun Yi found that Huang Shoufa was indeed good at fighting, so he promised him to "report the situation beyond the level", and any opinions on the war could be directly exchanged with Commander-in-Chief Nie Rongzhen.

The respect and support for Huang Shoufa by the party and the army made Huang Shoufa work harder and harder in the war, and also created some outstanding achievements, which played an important role in opening up a new situation in the struggle of our party at that time.

However, at the same time, Huang Shoufa gradually grew arrogant, his temper became more and more violent, and he even began to fight fiercely in the army, once because of some quarrels, he directly beat the friendly generals into the hospital.

In addition to work, Huang Shoufa also began to lose control of his temper more and more in life, often contradicting his wife He Yin on some small issues, and the two also had several disputes.

Although He Yin himself came from a relatively wealthy merchant family, he was able to deeply understand the suffering of the people, so he actively threw himself into the communist revolution and eventually became an excellent telegrapher in our party.

Due to the influence of the nature of the work, the two themselves gathered less and more, so Huang Shoufa asked He Yin to give up his work to accompany him.

Of course, He Yin, who had been educated by new ideas, was naturally not willing to become a vassal of men, and the revolution had not yet succeeded, so she directly refused her husband's request, and was not at all fearless in the face of her husband's rudeness, and finally Huang was afraid that this matter would affect her promotion, so she tolerated the past, but there was a lot of resentment in her heart.

Later, the two had a daughter, and He Yin, who was busy with work, hired a nanny in order to better take care of her daughter and husband.

But she never imagined that his husband and the nanny would have an improper relationship, so that she could only have a showdown with her husband, expressing the hope that his husband would stop at the right time, and the family would change a nanny.

He Yin thought that her retreat and forbearance would be exchanged for her husband's repentance, but she never expected that what would greet her would be the disaster of killing!

Huang Shoufa, who had been in a high position in the army for a long time, had long since become extremely arrogant in his military feats, and the soldiers under his command were even more in awe of him.

Not to mention that He Yin also wanted to change a nanny for the family, he promised on the surface, but in fact secretly found his own guard Bian Zhenhai in the Chinese New Year's Eve and asked him to beat his wife to death.

So what did this Huang Shoufa do to make Chairman Mao so angry?

When Bian Zhenhai learned that the chief wanted him to help kill He Yin, who was already pregnant with Liujia, he was extremely frightened in his heart, and he refused on the spot, and began to persuade him on this matter.

Huang Shoufa did not expect that Bian Zhenhai actually dared to refuse, and he was directly reprimanded in anger, and the next day he used the means of his position to threaten, and finally forced Bian Zhenhai to keep it secret.

On the second day of the Lunar New Year, a pregnant woman shot herself, and this pregnant woman was also the wife of the chief of staff; as soon as the matter was exposed, it caused a major sensation and aroused the great attention of the security department of the military region.

Although Huang Shoufa forged the scene very realistically, everyone still cast a suspicious eye on Huang Shoufa's body - the contradiction between Huang Shoufa and his wife is not secret, and his fierce temper is well known to everyone, and he has a major suspicion.

However, there was no way to convict Huang Shoufa just because he was suspicious, not to mention that in the interrogation of Huang Shoufa by the security department of the relevant military region, he bit his tongue very hard and had no intention of confessing at all.

Just because of his identity at the time, it was a trouble to arrest him without evidence, and the impact must be extremely bad.

Who is Huang Shoufa? It was an old Red Army who had been engaged in revolution for nearly 20 years, participated in the 25,000-mile Long March, and gradually went from an ordinary soldier to the position of chief of staff of Jin-Cha-Ji.

Not to mention the blood and wounds he shed for the revolution, just because he participated in the Battle of Loess Ridge and killed Norihide Abe, who was then a lieutenant general, is legendary enough.

So what did this Huang Shoufa do to make Chairman Mao so angry?

Although he had a fierce temper, he was indeed a "heroic" general figure in the people's army at that time. In the absence of evidence, the military district security department could not have said that he had been forcibly arrested.

In addition, there were different views within the military at that time on this matter.

Some people in the Jizhong Military Region believe that when the war is raging, Huang Shoufa should not be held accountable, and should be allowed to continue to lead our army's troops in combat.

Others believe that Huang Shoufa is guilty and should be executed to discipline severely.

In the many meetings carried out by the Jizhong Military Region and even the entire Jin-Cha-Ji Military Region, in the end, they could not decide on a method for handling Huang Shoufa, and the whole case dragged on for more than a year, and finally at the end of 1947, the people wrote a report on the matter and reported it to Chairman Mao.

After Learning of the case, Chairman Mao also attached great importance to it and ordered the troops to thoroughly investigate the matter, and in the end the truth about Huang Shoufa's shooting and killing of his wife was exposed, which caused Chairman Mao's thunderous anger and directly told Marshal Nie Rongzhen.

"Huang Shoufa's problem cannot be forgiven, and he must be executed."

After learning the truth of the matter, Marshal Nie Rongzhen was also extremely angry.

Since Comrade Sun Yi, commander of the military region, had heard that Huang Shoufa was "brave in fighting wars, had made meritorious achievements in battle, and was relatively capable in speaking and doing things," and because Huang Shoufa had indeed performed extremely well in previous wars, Marshal Nie Rongzhen had always regarded him as a close confidant and beloved general, but he never expected that Huang Shoufa was such a bad person with such a bad style of life behind his back.

A general with an extremely bad life style could never be wanted even if he could fight a war, so Nie Rongzhen directly ordered the guards to shoot Huang Shoufa.

So what did this Huang Shoufa do to make Chairman Mao so angry?

Although Huang Shoufa was shot, the impact of this incident was far from over, and it was not until May 1948, when Commander Sun Yi went to Xibaipo to accept the tasks of the Party Central Committee, he was criticized by Premier Zhou; in the face of Sun Yi's review, Premier Zhou did not easily expose it, but continued to ask questions, until he saw that Sun Yi really and effectively pointed out the responsibilities of the leadership in the Huang Shoufa incident, and then he was barely satisfied.

The strict law enforcement by the relevant departments, chairman Mao's decisive orders, and Premier Zhou's persistent accountability may seem to be somewhat "unkind," but in fact they are the best manifestations of strict military discipline and strict fairness and strictness of our party's troops.

Even if it is a great contribution to the army and the country, a person like Huang Shoufa who maliciously kills his wife and refuses to admit guilt will never get any protection.

Highly similar to the Huang Shoufa case is the Huang Kegong incident. Huang Kegong, as a veteran of the Red Army who experienced the 25,000-mile Long March and the Jinggangshan Struggle, made great contributions to the Battle of Loushan Pass in Erdu Chishui, which can be said to be an infinite scenery.

However, he acted recklessly in the name of his military merits, and after forcing the marriage to fail, he shot and killed liu Qian, a patriotic female comrade at that time, which caused a huge sensation in the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia region at that time.

And because the nature of the incident was too bad, Chairman Mao also had to "cut off ma ji with tears" and ordered huang Kegong, a capable but unethical Red Army general, to be shot.

Comparing the Huang Shoufa case with the Huang Kegong incident, we will find that they also belong to the category of people who are "talented and immoral"; after making meritorious contributions to the party and the troops, they did not precipitate themselves in time, but on the contrary, they drifted away, so they eventually deviated from our party's revolutionary line and made huge mistakes in their thinking.

So what did this Huang Shoufa do to make Chairman Mao so angry?

In fact, incidents of high-ranking generals killing wives by senior generals in the army like this also happened occasionally in the Kuomintang army, but in this regard, the Kuomintang's practices have formed a sharp contrast with our party.

Like the more famous Zhang Lingfu wife killing incident, in the case of solid evidence, Zhang Linfu was still only detained for a period of time, and then because of the needs of the Kuomintang army, Zhang Lingfu was directly allowed to "offset his merits and faults" and continued his own promotion journey.

It can be seen from this that there is a big gap between the KmT and our party in terms of the enforcement of party discipline and military discipline, and it is no wonder that the KMT has so many corrupt and discipline-violating things that even Chiang Kai-shek was forced to lose Taiwan in the end.

Although Huang Shoufa's final shooting was self-inflicted, it was ultimately regrettable that with his original achievements in our party's army, he should have been able to obtain the rank of general after the founding of the people's republic, but in the end he became a negative example of our army's ming discipline and rectification because of a bad idea.
