"The Future of Acceleration" is taken from an article published in The Atlantic in 1945 by American engineer Vannevar Bush, "As We May Think." Based on the frontiers and applications of scientific and technological research at that time, he envisioned a number of possible future devices, foresaw the birth of computers, Internet, search engines and other technologies, which formed the foundation of the information technology era.

In November 2019, "White Bites Black - Exhibition of Works from the Collection of the 'Modern Printmaking Society' in the Emerging Woodcut Movement" was made a stunning appearance at the Art Museum of the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, exhibiting 146 loose-page printmaking works of the Modern Printmaking Society of the Guangzhou Woodcut Organization, which were divided into two units: "Seizing the Bridgehead of Modern Art" and "Walking on the Cross Street of Realism", reflecting the sensitive reaction and expression of the woodcut artists of the Modern Printmaking Society in the 1920s and 1930s to the ideals and social reality of modern art. It also provides a very important foundation for the research and investigation of works of the Modern Printmaking Society.

"If black is a harsh social reality in China, then white is an ideal for modernist art." White bites black' is the feeling of collision, pulling and tearing between the social reality of the 1920s and 1930s and the lofty ideals of intellectuals at that time. The curator interpreted the title of the exhibition.

In January 2018, the Lunar New Year exhibition "Shanshui Has Zhiyin - Ancient Guangdong Landscape Painting Exhibition collected by the Guangzhou Museum of Art" sponsored by the Guangzhou Museum of Art was exhibited at the Chinese Painting Museum on the first floor of the Guangzhou Museum of Art.
The exhibition exhibits more than 70 ancient landscape paintings in the courtyard, all of which are written by Guangdong painters from the Ming and Qing dynasties or painters living in Guangdong, so as to sort out the evolution of Guangdong landscape painting style since the Ming and Qing dynasties and present the regional characteristics contained therein. The Cantonese landscape paintings of this period not only reflect the creative methods of understanding the ancients, borrowing from the times, and expressing their own opinions, but also reflect the collection fashion and aesthetic taste of the time.
