The only national manufacturing innovation center in the field of information optoelectronics, the National Information Optoelectronics Innovation Center, exhibited the 400Gb/s data center optical modulator chip just developed this year. This is also the first data center application 4100Gb/s silicon optical modulator chip in China. This means higher capacity for computing and switching in data centers, and consumers can enjoy clearer video and a more satisfying Internet experience. ”

Huawei showcased the F5G smart city application solution for the first time. "We chose to start in Wuhan because we value the advantages of Wuhan's optical communication industry." Wang Jinhui, vice president of Huawei's transmission and access product line, said that in the era of smart cities, information data is as important and indispensable as traditional water, electricity, gas and other resources. The role of F5G all-optical network is similar to that of water pipelines, power pipe corridors, and oil and gas pipelines. It is the conduit of information and data, ensuring the smooth flow of data. "5G is especially suitable for situations that require mobility, such as drones, internet of vehicles, etc.; F5G is based on optical fiber technology, with the characteristics of ultra-large bandwidth, security and reliability, deterministic low latency, suitable for enterprise campuses, data center interconnection, power traffic data bearing and other occasions." 5G and F5G synergy can meet the connectivity needs of thousands of industries. Huawei has cooperated with some universities in Wuhan. The application of the all-optical network solution, teachers and students feedback no longer appears to be stuck in the situation of dropping the line, dormitory remote teaching, online appointment to choose courses, etc. are no longer plagued by network speed, can truly achieve 'suspension of classes'. ”

The first 10,000-watt single-mode fiber laser launched by Rixo was exhibited for the first time. At the Expo, Tsinghua Unigroup exhibited the world's first 128-layer three-dimensional flash memory chip, showing the highest level of independent research and development of China Optical Communications.

The imaging equipment manufacturer "Oxford Instruments" from the United Kingdom, the analytical instrument manufacturer "Lindsays" from Germany, and the optical component enterprise "Fujing Technology" from Fujian are all coming to the Optical Expo for the first time. Huang Rong, sales director of "Fujing Technology", said: "We first chose to exhibit in Wuhan because the optical communication industry here has a deep foundation. "Tu Zhichao, a staff member of the andor brand of Oxford Instruments' subsidiary, introduced that their scientific research high-precision imaging cameras can see light signals that ordinary cameras cannot capture, and can be applied to cell fluorescence imaging." During the exhibition, East Lake High-tech Zone signed cooperation agreements with a number of well-known enterprises in the industry, involving integrated circuits, display panels, intelligent manufacturing and other subdivisions, with a total signing amount of more than 10 billion yuan.
