The cinema film "Green Leaves for Roots" is a gift film for the 40th anniversary of reform and opening up organized by the Propaganda Department of the CPC Central Committee, one of the films of 40 years, 40 events and 40 people. By chance, director Han Zhijun recommended me to make this movie. After learning about the touching deeds of Comrade Zhang Jiasheng through in-depth interviews in Huangcheng Village, I was deeply moved by his spirit... In my creation, I insist on the principle of describing an ordinary Communist Party member, an ordinary person. Strive to do: through the weather, grounded, popular. I create in strict accordance with the artistic laws of film creation, adhere to the principle that the authenticity of details is the eternal life of film, and strive to achieve big things and small things. My requirement for this film is to try to make it into a film: good to watch, watchable, and enduring. In the process of creation, we strive to have an independent structure and character of film aesthetics; we need to have the elegant personality and characteristics of film art; we need to appreciate both elegant and popular, suitable for all ages.
Film and television circle: In order to shoot this movie, you have worked with the screenwriter six times to collect the wind in the Imperial City, how did you feel during the process of collecting the wind?
Trail: The film was not easy to shoot, and I encountered all kinds of unimaginable difficulties, which was also a challenge in my creative career. In order to truly reproduce the deeds of Secretary Zhang Jiasheng, I led the main creative team to the Imperial City six times to interview and collect styles, and the difficulties are self-evident... But the touching deeds of Secretary Zhang Jiasheng inspire us, and he has grown from an ordinary Communist Party member to a village party secretary, family member, and leader who led the peasants on one side of the land to get rich together. His touching point lies in his ordinary and ordinary, in the fact that he has remembered the historical mission and responsibility of the Communists... In the course of the development of the Communist Party of China, it is precisely because there are a large number of outstanding Communist Party members like Secretary Zhang Jiasheng that our party's cause has flourished and developed, and they are the mainstay of the cause of socialist construction.

Che Jingxing: The actors of this movie are all powerful actors, and I am grateful to every actor who participated in the movie "Green Leaves to Roots". Due to the limitation of funds, the choice of actors is still more difficult, but the actors are touched by the spirit of Zhang Jiasheng, they have no two words, and gladly accepted the invitation of the crew. Everyone unanimously said that no matter how much the remuneration is, it is necessary to shape the role well. The choice of Ding Haifeng and Gao Gaoxuan to play Zhang Jiasheng and Zhang Xuelian is considered from the perspective of the actor's appearance, role interpretation and artistic expression. The selection of weiqing, Li Zhi, Du Xingqi, Song Qing, Liu Lingzhi and other actors is considered from their artistic expression. The filming conditions such as this film are still relatively difficult, and the actors work regardless of time and work without pay, and successfully complete the character shaping under very difficult conditions.

Trail: Making a movie is fun, but creating is also painful and joyful. The biggest highlight of this movie is that the real people and real events are touching to the story, and the actors' performances are real. It is difficult for a main theme movie to be loved by the audience. In my creation, I adhere to the principle that the main theme of the film must first have the audience, and the requirement for all the main creators is that the main theme of the film must be: true and credible. I ask that the traces of performance be avoided as much as possible to enhance the credibility and amiability of the characters, and that attention must be paid to the grasp of proportions in the shaping of the character image, and the performance of the actors must have both the characteristics of the times and the personality of the Chinese peasants. I strive to demand authentic, natural, rustic, delicate, and expressive performance styles, and avoid pretentiousness and facialization. It is required to avoid traces of performance in order to enhance the credibility and amiability of the characters. As it turns out, the actors have mostly done it.
Film and television circle. Did you encounter any interesting things during the filming process?
Driving trail: The film shooting work is extremely arduous, although it is spring boot, but the mountainous areas of Shanxi are very cold in the spring, and the temperature difference between morning and evening is particularly large. The most interesting thing in the filming process is that Ding Haifeng eats noodles, in order to show the characteristics of Shanxi's food culture, the plot requires many scenes to have Ding Haifeng eating noodles... The film shooting can not be completed at one time, so Ding Haifeng is disgusted...

Driving path: There is a scene in the movie "Green Leaves' Affection for Roots" in which Secretary Zhang's lover Zhang Xuelian washes the sheets for Grandma Zhou, and Secretary Zhang goes to Grandma Zhou's house to do work to persuade Grandma Zhou to relocate... Due to the limitations of the shooting venue, this scene was filmed back and forth several times, and the actors Ding Haifeng, Gao Gaoxuan, and Wei Qing cooperated tacitly, very seriously, and repeatedly performed over and over again, which was satisfactory. Their performances are real, delicate and remarkable.
