The on-site drill simulated the dangerous situation of leakage of the natural gas medium-pressure pipeline on the east side of donggang garden (north of Hexing West Road) in Luzhi Town due to construction damage, and the emergency rescue plan was activated, and the functional departments immediately carried out emergency rescue. At 14:00 p.m., the drill officially began, and at a construction site on the east side of Donggang Garden in Luzhi Town, an excavator accidentally dug through the DE200 medium-pressure natural gas pipeline during construction, causing a large amount of natural gas to leak and catch fire. The driver immediately turned off the excavator and reported the scene to the wuzhong district gas co., ltd. receiving center, requesting wuzhong district gas co., ltd. to the scene for disposal. At the same time, dial 110 and 119 to request rescue. The emergency repair team of Wuzhong District Gas Co., Ltd. arrived at the scene, and the excavator driver briefly introduced the accident to the emergency repair team, surveyed the scene, placed warning signs, and closed the valve. After arriving at the scene of the incident, the vehicles of the Luzhi Traffic Police Squadron and the Fire Squadron carried out road control, personnel vigilance, evacuation, and on-site control according to their respective duties, and carried out operations (cordons). After the hard work of emergency rescue personnel, the natural gas medium pressure pipeline on the east side of donggang garden in Luzhi Town was eliminated due to the dangerous situation caused by leakage after construction damage, and the pipeline resumed gas supply.

It is hoped that Wuzhong Gas and other operating enterprises will carry out full-coverage inspection and inspection of gas pipelines and facilities and equipment in the Luzhi District, and work with the township-level regulatory departments to weave a dense safety supervision network to truly check "zero blind spots" and "zero tolerance" for hidden dangers. Third, it is imperative to practice regularly and build a "firewall" for emergency response.
