Paying homage to heroes and martyrs, reliving the oath of joining the party, listening to red party lessons... On March 10, the Pudong New Area Civil Affairs Bureau (Veterans Affairs Bureau) launched a mobilization for party history study and education in the Nanhui Martyrs' Cemetery, and on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the party, it used rich red resources to make the study and education of party history deeply rooted in the hearts of the people.

In the afternoon of the same day, the participants stood solemnly in front of the martyrs' monument in the mourning square of the Martyrs' Cemetery, held a moment of silence and bowed to those martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the cause of the liberation of the Chinese people and the construction of the republic, and presented flower baskets and flowers to the people's heroes. The crowd also relived the oath of joining the party under the leadership of Lu Zhibin, the most beautiful retired soldier in Shanghai.

Nanhui Martyrs Cemetery is the "Patriotic Education Base of Pudong New Area". After the renovation and reopening in January this year, new educational facilities such as the Red Classroom, the Memory Exhibition Hall, and the Martyrs' Poetry inscription area were built in the cemetery, and the preface hall and the main exhibition hall of the Nanhui Revolutionary Historical Relics Exhibition Room were also re-arranged to display the history of the Nanhui Revolution.

It is reported that this is the first activity of the Pudong New Area Civil Affairs Bureau (Veterans Affairs Bureau) to carry out party history study and education, and it is also of special significance to choose to carry out it in the Nanhui Martyrs' Cemetery.

Li Lanzhen, from the foster home for the severely disabled in the new district, is an active member of the party. She told reporters that through this memorial sweep and study activities, she further understood the efforts of her revolutionary ancestors, and further encouraged her determination to actively move closer to the party organization.

On the same day, the participants visited the Nanhui Revolutionary Historical Relics Exhibition Room and also gave a party lesson in the red classroom. Two lecturers from the Martyrs' Management Institute in the new district presented the stories of martyrs Lin Jun and Linda to everyone, and through this form, more people could understand the heroic deeds of the communists.

The Red Classroom is a special theme education project launched by the Veterans Affairs Bureau of the New District, and in order to make the party history study and education further penetrate the masses and the hearts of the people, more vivid stories have been integrated into the red classroom.

Qi Haidong, director of the Pudong New Area Martyrs Management Institute, said: "As an education base at the two levels of the city, we have launched more red stories, hoping that more Communist Party members and the masses can go to the martyrs' cemetery and listen to the stories of our martyrs." ”

Subsequently, all branches of the civil affairs system of the new district will use rich red resources to carry out party history study and education one after another. These red resources will also help the new district and even the whole city to carry out party history study and education.
