In this family, we ushered in the birth of daughters and sons, and the connotation of our family also produced a qualitative leap, and since then we have become fathers and mothers, shouldering the responsibility of raising children.

Fortunately, the thatch was quickly burned out and did not cause a catastrophe. Small pot shed fires like this happen almost every year, just because the thatch doesn't burn, it comes and goes quickly. After the burning, only one shelf and three stoves were left, and in a few days it was re-covered with thatch to "rebuild after the disaster".
Later, because Jiang Genrong's family moved to Twenty Company, Zhang Yingsen hoped that we would move over to be neighbors with them, so that my family would "move housewarming" for the first time and move to the second house in the west of the penultimate building in the northwest.

In April 1979, we left this home on the farm and returned to Wuxi, and since then we have visited our second hometown many times, and we will always come here to see the place where we once lived, which has become our nostalgia and a place that we will never forget for the rest of our lives.
Where did we stay when we returned to Wuxi in April 1979? It has become a major difficulty for us to face first. Our family, the house is small, there are many brothers and sisters, at that time the third uncle still occupied a room, so there was really no place to live. After a few months of this, my third uncle built his own house and moved out, and we finally had a room in Huishan, and my daughter and son were both in Huishan Primary School.

At that time, Wuxi City had a policy, that is, all units should actively find ways to build houses to solve the housing problem of returning to the city and knowing the youth, but all units were more than enough and insufficient, and there were more monks and less porridge, and it was difficult to solve the housing problem of the return to the city at once, and it was necessary to solve it in batches. To this end, the young people who need housing are doing their best, finding relationships, taking the door, and want to solve the housing problem as soon as possible. At that time, we had no relationship and no way out, and we could only actively perform in our work, starting from doing a good job in interpersonal relations.
After I arrived at this factory, I was assigned to the calcium plastic box workshop as a design plate making work. The calcium plastic box is a new product just developed by our factory, and there is a lack of various talents. With the knowledge of plane geometry I learned, I studied the box design of the calcium plastic box, solved the problem of using the unfolding plot area to calculate the sales price, and received the attention of the leaders. In this way, before the Spring Festival in 1981, I was assigned a set of eight-zero horizontal sets located in Sheng'an No.2 Village. When we got the keys, our husband and wife were ecstatic and immediately went to the scene to see the house. The house was on the 6th floor of No. 33 Sheng'an Ercun, and we took a large bunch of keys and hurried upstairs and almost got mixed up the stairs. Shaking open the door, there are two rooms, one large and one small, there is a reception room, a living room, a bathroom, two storage rooms, wow! So big! We finally had a house of our own, and we couldn't sleep for a long time that night, planning how to arrange it. This house came very timely, my sixth brother happened to be married in the New Year, and our room was just freed up to solve his marriage room. So, my new house simply painted a little wall powder and a little floor paint and moved.
We had the big room in the new house, the daughter and son had two single beds in the small room, they were still young and it didn't matter for a short time. The sixth floor was the top floor, and at that time, when I was young, the right to climb the stairs was exercise, and I didn't feel hard. Gu Xiujin has not learned to ride a bicycle, has always walked to work, and it only takes 15 minutes to walk away from the rubber factory, so we are 100% satisfied with this new house from the bottom of our hearts. Later, not long after, Wei Yuchu was also assigned a new house, and I was in the same neighborhood, and every night we would meet in his house to chat, which was very convenient.
After a few years, the daughter and son grew up, and it was always inappropriate for two people to still live in the same room, and the demand for a larger house became more and more urgent. At this time, I have embarked on the post of deputy director, responsible for the production, labor, power equipment, safety and other departments in the factory, which is an important department of the factory, and I am also doing my own work conscientiously. At a work meeting of the factory leaders, Secretary Dong said: The housing problems of the members of our leading body have basically been solved except for Hu Jieqi, and his daughter and son are getting older and need to live in separate rooms. It is natural that the original house was handed over to the factory, there was no problem at all, and it was a little difficult for the rubber factory to pay a little money, because Gu Xiujin was just an ordinary worker in the factory, would the factory ignore it? I decided to visit her factory myself. At this time, I got a overjoyed news, it turned out that the general secretary of the factory party branch of the rubber factory was also a person from our Gonggang farm, named Wang Yingjuan, but I didn't seem to know him, no matter him, I would go to see him first. So, I went to the rubber factory to find the office of the general branch of the party and found Secretary Wang Yingjuan. Unexpectedly, things changed again, and my son told us that they would buy another house when they got married. We said: Why didn't you say it earlier? When the house is renovated, you regret it, otherwise the house will not have to spend the money to renovate. The son said: Just so you can enjoy yourself - speechless.
Therefore, we can only look for a listing, we consider our son's new house to buy closer to us, in the future to take care of more convenient. Just when Huilong New Village newly developed several new houses, the building owner got a few payment houses in a hurry to sell, we took a set of top floor, spent more than 60,000 yuan, my daughter-in-law factory subsidies of 10,000 yuan, and then the decoration spent more than 100,000 yuan, the son's marriage room to get it done. On New Year's Day 1997, my son and daughter-in-law held a wedding at the Liangxi Hotel and stayed in a new house.

In Huilong New Village, we have a good neighborhood relationship, Room 301 Lao Xu was a military representative of Huguang Instrument Factory before retirement, two bars and four stars, the difference is a general, the couple are loyal and honest, during the reign did not use the power to arrange a good job for their sons, to win the respect of neighbors up and down them. Every night, the corridor was dark, and they always turned on the light at the door to illuminate the neighbors who went up and down the stairs; every day, Lao Xu always swept the stairs first, then dragged them again with a mop, and at the same time wiped the railings of the handrails with a damp cloth. On January 25, 2016, a wave of cold air hit Wuxi, and the temperature in Wuxi dropped to minus 9 degrees, and all the water pipes in the home froze to death. My own mother also found a family that wanted to transfer the house. My son said that this is a resettlement housing community, is a small property rights house, the future property rights issue is more complicated and troublesome, so it is not appropriate, to buy a commercial house. Gu Xiujin and I do not advocate buying a new house, because we are both old, the new house has to be renovated, but also to move, the energy is not enough. We told our brother, sister and son what we thought. But only two days later, my son told us: the house has been bought, the intention money has been paid, the contract has been signed, and the location is in little swan South Garden, not far from Huilong New Village. We were immediately stunned, how did my son do this? Is it a bit hasty to not consult our opinions in advance, nor to consult and compare the procedures? The son explained: The current property market is one price a day, and Suzhou has come to a house speculation group, and the house price has risen, so it has been quickly sold. The wood has become a boat, and we can only resign ourselves to this fact. The new house is 88 square meters, two bedrooms and two halls, 700,000 yuan, located on the 9th floor, with elevators up and down. So we immediately set about two things: first, to report the original house to the agent and prepare to sell it; second, to start sorting out the altar jars and jars in the house, the rags, the throws that should be thrown, and the ones that should be sold.
It was April 2016, and after our housing agency reported to the agency, people came to see the house every day, and even our unregistered agent would bring someone to see the house. Finally, a buyer of the volkswagen real estate introduction we registered negotiated the price with us, we net 450,000 yuan, and then signed the property transfer contract, we postponed the delivery time to November, because our new house will not be available until the end of June, and then there will be decoration and so on, so there is room for the buyer, the buyer also agreed to our conditions, this matter is OK.
The second thing is to sort out the clutter in the house, and we clean up a little bit every day and slowly push forward. We made an appointment with a guy who specializes in buying waste, came to my house once a day, and sold it to him. Books and newspapers alone sold eight hundred catties, and there were many other scrap copper and rotten iron. Some things that are not collected are resolutely thrown away, and some clothes are given to the migrant workers who are working in the community. We left the old residence of Huilong New Village, we have lived here for more than twenty years, we have a deep affection for here, especially with some neighbors are already very familiar, we know each other, help each other, as the saying goes: "distant relatives are not as good as close neighbors", we are already as close as a family, so this time we feel very dependent, fortunately, the distance is not too far, we can still maintain regular exchanges.
The south of the new house is a small river, Huishan Mountain can be seen in the distance, the community greening is very good, the small bridge is dotted with flowing water, the environment is beautiful, the spacing between the buildings is also spacious, there is an elevator up and down the stairs, no longer have to struggle to climb up and down the stairs, very suitable for our pension residence.
