From October 23rd to 24th, the final of the 2021 China Innovation Method Competition Fujian Division with the theme of "Stimulating Innovation Vitality and Promoting Self-Reliance and Self-Reliance" was successfully held in Fuzhou. The final was hosted by the Provincial Association for Science and Technology and the Provincial Department of Science and Technology, and hosted by the Provincial Science and Technology Consulting Service Center and the Provincial Science and Technology Development Research Center. A total of 18 teams with a total of 54 participants participated in the final, and the participating projects involved mechanical manufacturing, housing construction, medical and health, intelligent technology, energy conservation and environmental protection and other professional fields, and a total of 3 first prizes, 4 second prizes and 5 third prizes were decided.
After the fierce competition of theoretical written examination, project roadshow defense, expert inquiry and evaluation, the participation projects of 3 enterprises such as Fujian Ju'an Construction Engineering Co., Ltd. won the first prize, the projects of 4 enterprises such as Fujian Longxi Bearing (Group) Co., Ltd. won the second prize, and the projects of 5 enterprises such as Xiamen Longshengda Lighting Electrical Appliance Co., Ltd. won the third prize. After the competition, Zheng Hengqiang, director of the Provincial Science and Technology Consulting Service Center, and Chen Shu, director of the Provincial Science and Technology Development Research Center, presented awards to the winning project teams respectively.
Co-sponsored by the China Association for Science and Technology and the Ministry of Science and Technology, the China Innovation Method Competition aims to give full play to the positive role of innovative methods in enhancing the innovation power of enterprises and stimulating the innovation vitality of enterprise scientific and technological talents. Fujian Province has participated in the China Innovative Method Competition for 4 consecutive years, and as of now, a total of 63 projects from 38 enterprises have participated in the provincial competition, and 7 outstanding projects have been recommended to participate in the national finals. With the continuous promotion of innovative methods, the enthusiasm of enterprises to participate in the competition has increased year by year, the number of participating enterprises has increased year by year, and the results of the competitions achieved in the national finals have also been continuously improved. At present, the participating teams in our province have won a total of 2 winning awards and 2 third prizes.
