Another theory is that the ancients often saw geckos in the palace, believing that they were gods guarding the palace, so they called them "shougong". Of course, these two statements are superstitious statements of the ancients and have no scientific basis, but they bring a touch of cultural significance to this cute pet.
The most common in the shogunate should be the leopard print shogunate. After years of breeding, the breeding grounds in the United States have already bred many special body colors, and the hatched juvenile body color is a black brown ring pattern on a white background, which is gradually replaced by spots as the growth color ring is completely transformed into a full-body leopard spot when it reaches adulthood, which is the origin of the name of the leopard print palace.
In recent years, because the cultivation of leopard-print mortuary has reached a mature stage, the breeding farm has gradually shifted its focus to the leopard-printed close relative Hemitheconyx caudicinctus, and has also bred a variety of mutant body colors and albinos, which are produced in western Africa, but the habits are similar to leopard prints.
The shougu is actually a gecko, and there are not a few collections in daily life. The moral is very good.
