The crowned red wax-billed bunting (Paroaria coronata), also known as the crested red wax-billed finch, is a naked-nosed finch. They are found in northern Argentina, Bolivia, southern Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay. They also found the southern Pantanal Wetlands and invaded Hawaii and Puerto Rico.
They used to be classified in the bunting family, but not close to the bunting family.
