The results of the study shocked the whole world, and the two fossil teeth are the teeth of primitive humans who lived in Yunnan 1.7 million years ago. Later, experts unearthed many stone artifacts in the place where the teeth were found, as well as a large number of carbon chips and charred bones. All these prove that our country had ancestors as early as 1.7 million years ago, and also used stone tools and fire, and this is the famous Yuanmou people.
Regarding the Yuanmou people, the world's archaeologists have different opinions, some agree with the 1.7 million years old theory, and some believe that the Yuanmou people probably lived 1 million years ago, or even 400,000 years ago. However, no matter which way of saying it is, it is impossible to deny the existence of the Yuanmou people. Because the ruins of the Yuanmou people are in front of them, they can withstand anyone's investigation.
On the contrary, the Xia Dynasty, which dates back to 4,000 years ago, has not been recognized by the world's archaeological community, because a dynasty wants to be determined, not only to unearth relevant architectural sites, but also to have written cultural records. For example, the reason why the Shang Dynasty was recognized by the world was because the excavation of oracle bones made foreigners who questioned the existence of the Shang Dynasty shut their mouths.
However, the Xia Dynasty did not have a text similar to the oracle bone to record its history, and the records of the Guan Yu Xia Dynasty still appeared at most in books such as "History", "Chinese", and "Zuo Zhuan". And the time of these writings is more than a thousand years away from the Xia Dynasty. Did the Xia Dynasty really not exist in history?
Of course not, the stories of "Dayu Zhishui", "Taikang Lost Country", and "Little Recovery Country" are familiar to us, although there are no cultural relics unearthed in the Xia Dynasty, and there is no text to record at that time, but it really exists. Although the Erlitou site is still questionable in terms of age, its architectural characteristics and architectural style are undoubtedly the true portrayal of the architecture of the Xia Dynasty.
Located in the eastern part of the Luoyang Basin, the Erlitou site in Yanshi District is estimated to be between 3800 and 3500 years ago. The Xia Dynasty, on the other hand, existed between 2070 BC and 1600 BC. It can be seen that the Erlitou site is the late Xia Dynasty to the early Shang Dynasty, which may be the site of both the Xia Dynasty and the architecture of the Shang Dynasty.
However, the stone tools, pottery, jade and bronze juju unearthed in the Erlitou site are quite different from the cultural relics of the Shang Dynasty. Therefore, Chinese experts unanimously believe that the Erlitou site is the site of the Xia Dynasty, and this view has become the general consensus of the academic community. However, foreign experts and scholars do not recognize it, and they still believe that the Erlitou site is not enough to prove the real existence of the Xia Dynasty.
In fact, the Xia Dynasty is not impossible to find, but there are many people who do not want to believe in its existence. As a past period of the period of wide-area monarchy to the integration of dynasties, the Xia Dynasty is undoubtedly one of the most important dynasties in China, and once the Xia Dynasty is determined to exist, then the saying that "China has been five thousand years" has been recognized by the whole world. This is the last thing many Westerners want to see, hence the idea that the Xia Dynasty did not exist, or that the Xia Dynasty originated in Egypt.
