In the case of sperm whales, for example, it can easily swim in the ocean at a depth of 2,000 meters. First of all in order to be able to adapt to the enormous pressure of the ocean, the bones of sperm whales have a higher density. In addition, the sperm whale will inject a large amount of seawater into the body when diving to ensure that the pressure in the body is the same as that outside the body, so that there is no pressure difference, and naturally it can live very comfortably.
But unlike sperm whales, submarines must leave enough space inside to ensure the proper survival of their crew. In this way, there is only one standard atmospheric pressure pressure inside the boat, while the pressure of the sea outside the boat is very large, and such a huge pressure difference acts on the hull of the submarine, causing the submarine to be difficult to withstand such a huge pressure, and eventually it is difficult to escape the fate of being squashed. Of course, if the submarine is also full of seawater inside and out, then it can also dive to a very deep depth, even to the bottom of the sea, but this is obviously unrealistic.
From this, I have to admire the magic of nature again, we humans have learned a lot from nature, and with the continuous development of biomimicry, I want to build a submersible that can swim in the abyss at will is no longer a dream.
