In order to better publicize the film and television culture of Shapowei and create a good atmosphere of "natural studio", Guo Xiaohua worked from many aspects. In school, he not only teaches film and television culture expertise, but also organizes students to shoot promotional films to show the beauty of Shapowei from different perspectives; in the community, he plans film and television culture theme activities and links businesses to participate together. In the two years since the Golden Rooster Awards came to Xiamen, the workshop has used the big screen at the entrance of the Chaozong Palace in Shapowei to broadcast classic movies for residents, such as "Spring and Autumn in a Small Town", "My Early Girlfriend", "Burning Heart of the Sun", etc., each of which can capture the scenery of Xiamen.

A few days ago, at the Golden Rooster Award Volunteer Expedition Conference, 600 young volunteers from major universities in Xiamen solemnly swore an oath, and Zhang Jiachen, a senior student majoring in English at the School of Foreign Languages of Xiamen University, was one of the young volunteers. "I imagined that the first time I volunteered for a large-scale event, I should have been a reception at the event site, but I didn't expect to be assigned to the background." Zhang Jiachen, who minored in drama, film and television literature, has a strong interest in film and television culture, and most hopes to meet senior people in the industry at the film and television forum, and she is a little disappointed when she learns that she is responsible for the subtitle translation of this year's Golden Rooster Award foreign film screening. And with that comes a lot of pressure.
Foreign films usually only have English subtitles and must rely on translations to be understood by Chinese audiences. Before the screening, Zhang Jiachen was assigned an Indonesian film and its Chinese translation in advance, which needed to be translated into the final version through proofreading and correction, and the subtitles were presented at the screening site.
In order to ensure that the work is foolproof, Zhang Jiachen watched the movie three or five times, repeatedly familiarized himself with the lines, encountered places where the speed of speech was fast or the grammar was difficult, and tirelessly studied it. When it came time for the official screening, she sat in the first row of the movie theater with her computer in her arms, concentrating on presenting each line of subtitles, and quickly reacted to the deleted clips and successfully completed the work. Zhang Jiachen recalled that she was relieved until the last moment. "A high-quality film and television work from creation to presentation has condensed the painstaking efforts of countless people in front of and behind the scenes." When I saw the Xiamen audience leave the theater with a smile on their faces because my translator understood the film, I was no longer lost, and I did something meaningful. Zhang Jiachen said.
