On August 1, U.S. undergraduate applications began: the Common App portal for 2021-2022 officially opened.
Compared with previous years, this year CA has these new changes.
More than 60 new universities were added
Including many well-known American universities, such as the Pratt School of the Arts in New York (past case: congratulations to Yao for realizing his dream of the 8th Pratt School of art in the United States), The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (past case: computer science) and so on.

Change document/visa related requirements
Changed "Other(non-U.S.)" in citizenship-related questions to two options, one for "internationalstudents" and one for "undocumented/DACA students"
All questions asking about the student's geographic location are deleted or optional
Parent and sibling related questions have been removed
“If you intend to apply for a new or different U.S. Visa, please indicate that visa type”分成了两个问题
The question "U.S. domestic or residing" was removed
There are also issues related to changes to gender perception, deletion of requirements related to religious preferences, requirements for military discharge explanations, and so on.
