If you want to ask me what is the least regrettable thing in the past two years, it is to grit my teeth and buy a new energy vehicle.
Although the funds were tight at the beginning and the family was strongly opposed, the thought of using an expensive pure fuel car still insisted on buying it.
In this issue, I will share my experience in the past two years, and I really have a feeling of regretting not buying it earlier, and the more I use it, the happier I am.
01Why do you choose new energy vehicles?
It's a shameful thing to say, but it's true.
After all, the cost of using a fuel vehicle is too high....many families can't afford it!
Take my previous fuel car as an example, it costs more than 20,000 yuan to run about 15,000 kilometers a year, and this kind of economic pressure is really unbearable.
When I didn't have children, the smell of gasoline didn't matter, but after I had children, I found that my children hated the smell of gasoline and even felt uncomfortable - this made me more determined to buy a new energy vehicle.
In general, there is no lofty reason for me to choose a new energy vehicle, just to make my family comfortable, save my own money, and no longer have to worry about the pain of oil vehicles.
Despite the tight budget at the time, this decision has really improved my quality of life significantly.
Especially in the seemingly inconspicuous little things – they add up to a sense of happiness on a daily basis.
02What are the advantages of new energy vehicles?
So, on the whole, I think the advantages of new energy vehicles are obvious.
Compared with fuel vehicles, new energy vehicles really save a lot of money in daily maintenance and use.
Because there are no frequent maintenance items, there is no need to worry about every oil price fluctuation.
Especially after installing a charging pile at home, the cost can be reduced to a very low cost by using the peak and valley electricity price to charge at night.
For someone like me who is concerned about cost of living, this is undoubtedly a huge help.
Many people may not have driven a new energy vehicle, but I can tell you that the acceleration of electric vehicles is very smooth and quiet, and there is no frustration when changing gears in a gasoline car.
Every time you gently press the accelerator pedal, the smooth and fast push back feeling is really addictive.
And the quietness of the car is also very good, there is less engine noise, and the whole person feels a lot calmer when driving.
Especially when driving long distances, this quiet experience makes me feel particularly comfortable!
Most new energy vehicles are equipped with a lot of intelligent technologies, such as automatic driving assistance, remote control, etc.
These features may seem like the icing on the cake, but they do bring a lot of convenience in actual use.
For example, on an elevated/highway road, 93% of the distance can be driven by the vehicle, which is really much easier.
Originally, when I went out for a self-driving trip, I didn't have the energy to "tour the mountains and rivers", but now after a journey, I am not tired at all.
03What are the disadvantages of new energy vehicles?
Of course, new energy vehicles are not perfect, and they also have some unsatisfactory points.
While the range of electric cars is improving, the battery does not perform as well as expected during the cold winter months.
The colder the weather, the worse the battery life drops, which is indeed a bit inconvenient for ordinary families.
Especially when planning a long trip, it's important not only to consider the charging facilities along the way, but also to be more precise about your trip.
Sometimes, I still miss the gas station and the convenience of "go and go to the place".
Two years ago, my 600-kilometer tram was considered a "popular fried chicken", but now it is a bit outdated.
Because now there are models with a range of 700-800 km, or even 1000 km...
This made me a little frustrated, feeling that my car was no longer so advanced.
For example, the upcoming Xpeng P7+, all of which use an 800V architecture, and all seats are equipped with massage, ventilation, and heating as standard, and the price is more affordable.
In comparison, my car is still 400V technology, only the front row has these features, and the seat comfort is also a little worse...
This kind of comparison makes people a little helpless!
Although charging piles in China are very popular today, there are still some places where there are problems with charging piles.
It's not that these charging piles can't be used, but the power is very low, and the problem that was originally planned to be solved in 20-30 minutes basically dragged on to 1 hour.
In general, new energy vehicles have their unique advantages, but also have their own challenges.
I don't regret my choice, but I feel more and more that it has brought positive changes to my life.
What about you? Are you willing to try this change and experience the difference that new energy vehicles bring?
