Astronaut Yang Liwei, as the first person in China to enter space, as an outstanding representative of Chinese astronauts, his name is destined to be remembered by history.
On October 15, 2003, Chinese astronaut Yang Liwei set off from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center and took the first step for Chinese to travel to Xinghan. After entering space for the first time on the "Shenzhou V" spacecraft, Yang Liwei opened his work diary and wrote down the following sentence: "For the peace and progress of mankind, the Chinese have come to space." ”
Yang Liwei carries the long-standing dream of the Chinese nation to fly and represents the success of the Chinese for the first time in space. However, behind the realization of this great feat, there are many touching past events and memories, and how many unknown thrills and challenges.
When the rocket rises to an altitude of thirty or forty kilometers. Rockets and ships suddenly began to shake violently. This sudden and violent low-frequency resonance made Yang Liwei experience 26 seconds of "feeling like he was going to sacrifice".
Yang Liwei later described it in his recollections: "It made me feel very painful...... It seemed that my internal organs were about to shatter, and I could hardly bear it, and I felt that I was about to die" However, as the fairing of the aircraft opened, the dazzling sunlight shone in through the porthole, and Yang Liwei couldn't help blinking. When this picture was transmitted to the hall of the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, there was thunderous applause.
Yang Liwei became the first Chinese to visit space, and China also became the third country in the world to independently master manned space technology. Yang Liwei greeted the people of the world from space and displayed the five-star red flag and the United Nations flag side by side in the capsule. This picture went down in history.
Later, in his book "Nine Layers of Heaven and Earth", Yang Liwei recalled his feelings at the moment when he looked down on the earth in space: "Looking at the boundless starry sky, looking at the earth, looking at the black universe, I feel very small, it is too insignificant. And this small "I" can swim in the universe, if "without the joint efforts of the country and the nation, I would not be able to fly to such a high sky". At that moment, he "naturally understood what it meant to be human, to be a fatherland, to be a nation." ”
At the 2024 "China Aerospace Day" event, Yang Liwei won the "Qian Xuesen Highest Achievement Award". In his acceptance speech, Yang Liwei said sincerely: "Manned spaceflight is the cause of 10,000 people and one gun, although this award is awarded to me today, but this honor belongs to thousands of astronauts who have worked hard and silently contributed to the cause of manned spaceflight, and it is the dedication of each of you that has lifted the space home of today's Chinese and traveled the sky." ”
From 2003 to 2024, from Shenzhou 5 to Shenzhou 18, batch after batch of astronauts shouldered our pride and expectations, led the expedition and triumphant.
In the future, China's aerospace heroes will surely leave more wonderful moments.
Hats off and look forward to it!
