#理想家生活#
When I was a child, my mother told me to be thrifty, not to waste, to cherish everything around you, it has nothing to do with whether you have money or not, because waste is "crime", and every grain of hard work is not only for food, but also for anything in our lives!
The older generation taught us to love everything around us, but they didn't teach us to love ourselves, we ourselves are the most deserving love in this life!
There's nothing wrong with frugality, and if frugality is built on your own health, it's putting the cart before the horse.
Some people still haven't been able to understand this truth! This leads to some people always practicing the thrifty behavior of "very hard but useless", especially the following 6, which are really poking at the pain points, and my family is actually weighted!
1. Eat leftovers
My friends often complain to me that every time their family cooks a new meal, but his father never eats it, he eats the leftovers in the refrigerator, and he is reluctant to throw it away, and he is not willing to let his wife and children eat the leftovers, so he decided to eat it himself.
This practice has become the norm for his father, and he has dissuaded him many times, but his father seems to be "desperate" with him! Their older generation has a different concept of life from ours, and he can only complain while feeling sorry for his father!
Later, but the problem can only be solved from the source, that is, buy less vegetables, do less, and try not to let the food be left. Leftovers can be stored for a long time to breed a large number of bacteria and viruses, mold and other harmful organisms to contaminate, producing toxins and spores.
Even if you heat it, you can't kill it all, so if you eat such leftovers, isn't it not responsible for your health, and if you eat something wrong and go to the hospital, it will be too much to lose.
2. Dish towels and rags are not broken or replaced
The older generation of people is definitely more frugal than you think, and there is nothing wrong with living a life, but if you don't pay attention to health, you will put the cart before the horse, and the gains outweigh the losses. In the end, only yourself will be hurt.
For example, kitchen towels and rags will absorb a large amount of bacteria on them after a period of use, resulting in odors and sticky touches.
Many old people use hot water to scald, wash and then use, some rags are already black on the top, can not be washed off at all, but in their cognition feel that as long as the hot water is scalded, it will kill all bacteria.
After a few days, the rag was sticky again, which proves that bacteria are breeding repeatedly, so don't joke about your health for the sake of frugality, rags and dish towels must be washed and changed frequently.
3. Eat expired food
There are some food items in the house, which have inadvertently reached the expiration date or have expired. The old people in the family never cared about the date, and felt that as long as the appearance did not change, they felt that it was still okay to eat.
Although it is true that some foods can be eaten after they have expired, such as salt, soy sauce, etc., it does not mean that all foods are okay when they expire. Don't take the plunge and eat expired food. It's a trivial matter to eat until you have diarrhea, and if you don't get it and go to the hospital and have to wash your stomach, it's not something you can solve by saving that little money.
4. Buy cheap clothes to save money
High-quality clothes make the wearer feel confident, and the quality is good and can be worn for a long time. We bought a few cheap clothes, but after wearing them a few times, there were problems such as fading, deformation, and pilling.
I feel embarrassed to wear it out, so I have to spend money to buy clothes, waste time and energy, not to mention, I don't want to wear clothes and I am reluctant to throw away,
As a result, the wardrobe is full of tattered clothes that I bought back with careful budgeting, and it is better to buy 2 good clothes generously, and it will not take up space after wearing it for a long time, so quickly throw away those rags.
5. Buy out-of-season goods
Many people feel that they are very frugal and are really good at living. It seems to have opened another door to save money, that is, to go to the mall to buy out-of-season tail goods. It's the big summer, go buy a big cotton dress N years ago.
Or in the winter, buy a bunch of summer half-sleeves, feel that you have picked up a bargain, and you must not miss this opportunity to pick up the leak. However, I really waited until the second year,
I found that the clothes I bought cheaply were really ugly, I didn't want to wear them at all, or they didn't fit my current self at all, although this is not absolute, but many people have such an experience.
6. Reluctance to turn on the air conditioner
The summer heat makes people sit on the edge and sweat profusely, so everyone has installed air conditioners to provide coolness in the summer. However, this sudden increase in electricity bills has discouraged many people, and the air conditioner they bought has once become a furnishing in their homes.
Every time I come home sweating profusely and want to turn on the air conditioner, my mother says that there is so much sweat on a hot day, you can't turn on the air conditioner, and the moisture will enter the body from your pores.
I can only wait for the sweat to disappear and then turn on the air conditioner, but my mother still won't let me, but stay at home, there is no wind at all, and a little walk is sweaty, forget it, or go back to your own house to blow the air conditioner.
summary
These hard-working and useless thrifty behaviors are really "picking up sesame seeds and throwing watermelon" It seems to save money, but they ignore their own feelings, make the loss even greater, and even affect health.
