China Business Intelligence Network News: On October 12, the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce released the list of "2024 China's Top 500 Private Enterprises" in Lanzhou, Gansu Province. The list shows that in 2023, the total operating income of the top 500 private enterprises will be 41.91 trillion yuan, 97 enterprises will have an operating income of more than 100 billion yuan, an increase of 2 from the previous year, and 9 enterprises will have an operating income of more than 500 billion yuan, an increase of 1 from the previous year.
The top 500 private enterprises are distributed in 47 industries, and the total operating income and total assets of 25 industries have increased compared with the previous year, mainly involving electrical machinery and equipment manufacturing, computer, communication and other electronic equipment manufacturing, software and information technology services, etc. Among them, the number of manufacturing enterprises accounted for 66.4% of the top 500, and the proportion has increased for three consecutive years.
Judging from the ranking, Jingdong Group topped the list with an operating income of 1.08 trillion yuan. Alibaba and Hengli Group ranked second and third, with operating income of 927.494 billion yuan and 811.737 billion yuan respectively. Huawei, Zhejiang Rongsheng Holding Group, Tencent, BYD, Shenghong Holding Group, Weiqiao Group, and Zhejiang Geely Holding Group entered the top 10, ranking 4-10 in turn.
From the perspective of regional distribution, Zhejiang and Jiangsu provinces have the largest number of shortlisted enterprises, with 106 shortlisted enterprises in Zhejiang Province and 89 shortlisted enterprises in Jiangsu Province. There are 50 shortlisted enterprises in Shandong Province and Guangdong Province.
