In the second quarter, Portis hit two three-pointers to help the Bucks overtake the score. The Lakers scored eight straight points in the middle of the period, and at 5:15 they led by seven points at 44-37. The Bucks, led by Brother Alphabet, went on a 13-0 run of attacks. After halftime, the Bucks led 58-52.
In the third quarter, Davis's 2+1 and Kneckt's three-pointer helped the Lakers chase down to 63 at 8 minutes and 50 seconds. The Bucks pulled away again in the second half of the third quarter, and after three quarters, the Bucks led the Lakers by eight points at 82-74.
In the final quarter, the Bucks scored 7 points in a row, leading the Lakers by 15 points at one point. But then the Lakers scored 17 straight points to take a two-point lead at 5:16 at 91-89, and the Bucks called a timeout. Olivari hit a three-pointer after a timeout to give the Lakers a five-point advantage. Johnson's three-pointer helped the Bucks chase down to just two points. But then the Lakers went on a 10-0 run, and the Lakers 105-93 in 1:32 completely ended the suspense of the game. In the end, the game ended with the Lakers winning 107-102.
