Yu Huaying abducted and trafficked 17 children on trial today: a pair of brothers have been abducted for 30 years

On the morning of October 11, Yu Huaying's child abduction and trafficking case will be tried again at the Guiyang Intermediate People's Court. Yu Huaying was charged with abducting 11 children at the first trial last year, but the police later found out that she had abducted and trafficked six other children, and now the number of children on the list has increased to 17.

Wang Yanlong and Wang Nengneng from Anshun City, Guizhou Province, are two of the six children newly identified as being abducted and trafficked by Yu Huaying, who were abducted and trafficked to Handan, Hebei Province in 1994. 30 years later, Yu Huaying was finally sent to the trial seat, and the brothers' mother, Zhang Rongxian, is still waiting to see her sons.

Both brothers are missing at the door of their homes

Zhang Rongxian is from Qingzhen City, Guizhou Province, in the early 90s of last century, she and her husband left their hometown with their three sons to work in Anshun City, renting a house in Wangjiashan Village, Xixiu District, Anshun City. It's at the interface between urban and rural areas, and the people who come and go are very complicated, and they rent six or seven wooden houses with tiles in the courtyard.

Zhang Rongxian clearly remembers the scene on the day his two sons disappeared. It was the third day of the ninth lunar month in 1994, and after the 6-year-old eldest son Wang Yanlong and the 4-year-old second son Wang Nengneng got up, Zhang Rongxian dressed them neatly and gave them hot meals to eat, but the brothers did not eat them. Wang Yanlong ate two bites and poured the rice back into the pot, and Zhang Rongxian angrily knocked him on the head with chopsticks.

Then the two brothers went out to play, the 3-year-old brother also followed, the husband went to work in the coal yard, and Zhang Rongxian was busy with housework at home alone. After more than half an hour, the youngest son came back alone, and without seeing his two brothers, Zhang Rongxian went out to look for it. She searched all over the creek where her sons usually catch frogs and the dirt slope where they catch dragonflies, but there is no trace of them. Zhang Rongxian panicked, went to the coal yard and called back her husband and workers, everyone looked for it together, and went to the train station and bus station to squat for many days, but there were still no clues to the children.

At this time, people also found that a woman who rented a house in the courtyard suddenly disappeared without knowing when, and she didn't take anything from the house with her. Zhang Rongxian was not impressed by the woman and did not know her name, but her sons had gone to the woman's house to play, and the younger son stammered to Zhang Rongxian when he came home: "She gave her toys to her brother to play with, not for me to play." ”

Zhang Rongxian suspects that the woman stole her two sons after mingling with the children through toys. As for why he didn't steal his younger son, Zhang Rongxian told the Jimu News reporter: "The third child was malnourished at the time, very thin, and had yellow hair, she may not have taken a fancy to it." The eldest and second are very healthy and cute. ”

Zhang Rongxian and her husband asked the woman's landlord, but the landlord also said that they did not know where the woman came from. They called the police, and the police didn't have much to do. In this way, the two sons suddenly disappeared from the lives of Zhang Rongxian and his wife.

My mother has been looking for her son for 30 years after working

Since then, Zhang Rongxian and his wife have been running around looking for their son, but they have not been heard from. "In those days, communications were not developed, and there were many scammers, but I never gave up looking for my children, and I went to see wherever I had any news." Zhang Rongxian said that after the disappearance of her two sons, her husband's spirit was greatly hit, and he jumped into the river twice to commit suicide, but was rescued by well-wishers. Later, her husband frequently borrowed alcohol to kill his sorrows, causing a serious illness and often being bedridden, leaving her alone to run around the country with posters to find her son.

Around 2010, with the help of volunteers, Zhang Rongxian and her husband registered their relatives on the baby's home website, and then collected blood from the database. Every time he participated in the family search conference, Zhang Rongxian would look at the photos of the children looking for their families one by one, for fear of missing one.

Afraid that his sons would not have an impression of their childhood, Zhang Rongxian recounted the experience of the two children over and over again on the Internet: "Mom and Dad were selling coal next to the public toilet in Wangjiashan Village, and you brothers learned to pick up the box to print coal bars, and your little hands and faces played black. "Xiaolonglong, you love meat the most, even if dinner is late, you have to wait. Wang Nengneng, you often skip dinner and go to bed after dark. "Son, do you remember, there are snacks such as potato skewers and bean paste in the courtyard, and you like to eat them the most."

After the rise of the short video platform, Zhang Rongxian also registered an account to find relatives. In her fifties, she asked someone to P her own photo with the photo of her two sons when they were young, hoping that a miracle would happen in the dark.

Zhang Rongxian's youngest son told the Jimu News reporter that he had no memory of the disappearance of his two elder brothers, but since he was a child, he has seen his mother frequently go out to look for his brother. Especially after joining the baby's home family search group, every time there is a group family search activity, the mother goes out with a poster with a photo of her brother. Usually, his mother sells fruits and vegetables, pulling him to grow up and marry a wife and have daughters.

"When I went out to work, my mother always described my two older brothers to me and told me to pay more attention to the relevant information outside to see if I could find them." Zhang Rongxian's youngest son also said.

The two sons were found but did not return home

In August 2023, a miracle really happened. In the course of their work, the Zhejiang police accidentally discovered that a man who collected blood in Zhejiang had successfully compared the DNA of Zhang Rongxian and his wife. Later, the volunteers contacted the man, who said that he had been trafficked to Handan, Hebei Province since he was a child, and remembered that he had a younger brother who was abducted with him. Judging from this, this man is Zhang Rongxian's eldest son Wang Yanlong.

Zhang Rongxian and his wife were excited after hearing the news, but to their disappointment, Yanlong said that because of his own reasons, he wanted to recognize his relatives after the situation improved. In the more than a year since the eldest son was found, Zhang Rongxian had only seen his ID photo at the Public Security Bureau.

The eldest son was abducted and trafficked to Handan, and Zhang Rongxian believes that the second son is very likely to be in Handan. At this time, she noticed a piece of news: Yang Niuhua, who was abducted and trafficked to Handan in Guiyang in 1995, found Yu Huaying, a trafficker who abducted and sold her, in 2022, and sent her to court in 2023. Whether it is the time of the crime, the modus operandi or the route of trafficking, the Yang Niuhua case is very similar to the Wang Yanlong and Wang Nengneng cases, Zhang Rongxian suspects that the two sons were also abducted by Yu Huaying, and the woman who suddenly disappeared in Wangjiashan Village was Yu Huaying.

So, Zhang Rongxian asked the Guiyang police who had solved the case of Yang Niuhua's abduction, and the Guiyang police found the Jiangxi police with excellent face recognition technology, and finally through face recognition, they found a man who looked highly suspicious of Wang Nengneng in Handan. In the spring of this year, after the police took blood from the man, they confirmed through DNA comparison that he was indeed Zhang Rongxian's second son, Wang Nengneng.

To Zhang Rongxian's husband's relief, Wang Neng is doing well to support his family in Handan, and he is married and has four children. The mother and son chatted on WeChat and had a video call witnessed by the police, and the son said that he would come to Guiyang to meet his parents and younger brother this autumn after finishing the work at hand.

"Yu Huaying died a hundred times and didn't get rid of his hatred"

At the same time, Zhang Rongxian also learned from the police that Wang Yanlong and Wang Nengneng were indeed abducted by Yu Huaying. In 2023, Yu Huaying's case will be tried several times, and Zhang Rongxian will come to the court as a parent looking for relatives, holding a poster to look for his son; On October 11, 2024, she will enter the courtroom as a family member of the victim, and will see the disappeared tenant again after 30 years.

"Yu Huaying was sentenced to death in the first instance last year, and now several more abducted children have been discovered, and they are even more likely to be sentenced to death." Zhang Rongxian told the Jimu News reporter, "She has harmed so many of our families, and she really can't get rid of her hatred when she dies a hundred times." ”

At present, Zhang Rongxian's youngest son is working in other places, and she herself works as a cleaner in Guiyang, with four days off every month, and her salary is only more than 2,000 yuan. At the same time, she grows some vegetables for sale in the vacant land next to the rental house and takes care of her little granddaughter. At 11 p.m. on October 9, she was still busy in the vegetable patch, and she had to water the vegetables by hand because it hadn't rained for a long time this year. Zhang Rongxian took time to take him to the hospital for a check-up on the 10th, "I told him that we have to live healthy and wait for our sons to come home." ”

Life is difficult, Zhang Rongxian is full of guilt for his two sons who have not returned home: "I'm very sorry for them, I can't help their lives." But she also said that she did not expect her two sons to come back to live with her, nor did she need to provide for her, "As long as they can come to see us once a year and talk to us every New Year's holiday, I am satisfied." ”

Zhang Rongxian's youngest son also told reporters that he was glad that his two brothers had been found, and his mother would not have to go out to look for it in the future. At the moment, he has not made contact with his brothers, and he is looking forward to the day when the family will be reunited.
